Kei felt quite comfortable in this new apparel as he walked along the road towards Redweed village .
Kei looked at the dark blue dyed full sleeved hooded jacket like apparel and the black leg apparel both made of flexible beast hide and thought that it felt similar to leather on earth.
He also wore the arm gloves underneath which extending up to his elbow covered the red patterns on his arms. They also felt very lightweight as if he was not even wearing them.
Kei missed wearing shoes but as he looked at his beast shaped paws , he declined the idea . He would feel greatly uncomfortable with shoes on. Also, there was no concept of shoes on the Black Earth as rakshasas had beast like clawed paws totally unfit for wearing shoes .
Kei had his hood on ,shielding his face from view, but the expensive clothing garnered the attention of other rakshasa commoners who were also going back to the Redweed village from the capital.
Kei was indifferent to this as his next plan included other people noticing him but not to the point of recognizing him as these wayfarers had seen him during the awakening ceremony . So, he moved fast until anyone could get a good look at his face .
Soon he reached another dome shaped building of the merchant guild and entered it . It was a utility shop.
The first two floors were for commoners while the upper floors were for the nobility, this was the basic hierarchical structure of these merchant shops. Kei had understood it by now, so without wasting any time he directly went to the second floor.
Seeing Kei's expensive clothing and his confident demeanor, the guards at the entrance did not stop him and when Kei removed his hood the guard felt at ease confirming Kei as a noble seeing his licorice black skin and beige white hair. (Commoners had light grey colored skin)
A salesgirl also approached Kei offering to help him out and Kei accepted the offer willingly . After an hour of shopping, Kei had bought items worth of 15 sigloi.
When asked to pay the bill, Kei used the same tactic and introduced himself as Markus of house Tsakani and nonchalantly asked to send the bill over to his family estate to which the shop caretakers obliged with forced smiles on their faces .
Kei put his hood on as he exited the shop . As soon he went out on the street , Kei changed his apparel into an inexpensive looking brown garb with his face covered in hood as he strolled along towards the next merchant shop.
The inexpensive clothes on his body helped him to move smoothly among the commoners who considered him as one of their own and showed no interest .
Soon, Kei reached another dome shaped building , it was another utility shop. Before entering , Kei went towards an empty space behind the shop , away from the eyes of the wayfarers . Kei again changed into a red expensive looking full sleeved apparel and his hair color was also changed into pitch black from beige white .
Kei then entered the shop but this time, instead of heading to the second floor, he approached the counter and introduced himself as Markus of House Tsakani .
After exiting this shop, Kei again put his hood on as he walked along, again attracting attention of the commoners due to his expensive clothing.
Soon, he reached another dome shaped building , this building was slightly bigger than the previous ones and was the last one on this road . This was a weapon shop jointly run by the merchant's guild and the militia fraternity. Again , Kei changed his apparel at a secluded spot behind the building.
Kei entered the building with his hood off, wearing his previous blue dyed full sleeved apparel and his hair color had also turned to its usual beige white .
Kei quickly moved to the second floor where he was welcomed by an old rakshasa male who offered his help. Kei again immediately accepted the help and started looking at the weapons of higher tier . Kei also visited the upper third floor to check for a suitable weapon of his choice .
Unable to find anything that suited his preference Kei suddenly made an absurd request which was immediately rejected by the shop caretaker.
But, after much persuasion ,his request was granted, and he left the shop paying a sum of 6 sigloi in hard currency.
As soon as Kei left the shop, the shop caretaker and the old man verified the currency to check its authenticity.
Confirming the authenticity of the currency , they felt relieved and laughed until their cheeks ached.
They were convinced that Kei was an eccentric person .
Kei had made them dismantle five weapons of Tier 5 and bought only some parts of each weapon at the price of all the five weapons .
