The sound of Marie gritting her teeth could be heard in the office after Harry finished speaking. It was true that she used to have feelings for Harry in the past but that wasn't entirely her fault. Just like everyone else, she was deceived by his smart suit and noble demeanor not to mention, he was also from a prominent family. She thought he was a good person and fell for him. Being the person she was,when pursued him and even went to him with a proposal for marriage.
Fortunately, he was way to proud back then to listen to her and accept her proposal, otherwise, she would have died after finding out that she was married to a disgusting man like Harry.
Now that she thought about it, other than his handsome face and family background, there was nothing else Harry had that enticed her. Right now, she saw him as a disgusting man and she wanted nothing more than to get him out of her office.
