The day he came out to his parents, their reactions were completely normal. It was first surprise, then a bit of questioning followed. There was disagreement too, but it only lasted for a short while, not lasting any longer than the hour it started, and then he received their support. How happy he was when he got their nods of approval. Back then, his teenage self couldn't contain his happiness and stayed all night rolling on his bed because he was giddy and couldn't fall asleep. There were stories of people being rejected by their parents after they came out, but his family was completely supportive.
