The crew is feasting on the meat Hunter brought. He wasn't there. Talia, looks at the table, she doesn't see Hunter here. "Where is Hunter?" One of the crew members points outside. Talia gets up and walks outside the ship.
She looks at the beautiful view of the plains, the moon lighting the lands, she sees Hunter looking vaguely into the plains, sitting on the ground.
"Are you sleeping?" Hunter shakes his head. "Not yet." Hunter sighs, "Shouldn't you be eating?" Talia gets beside him, sitting with him. "I'm done eating." She gets closer to him. "When we first met, I said I don't have a family name, you said 'Bloodhearth it's fine enough' what did you mean by that?" Hunter laughs, "You sound like my late wife." He sighs.
"Last names are important, Bloodhearths know that the most." A tear appears on his cheek, "That's why Bloodhearths give the name Bloodhearth to people with no name." Talia looks at him, she notices him pouring tears.
"Are you crying?" He cleaned his face and scratched his eyes. "It's just the emotion. I am sorry." Talia pats him on the back, and slowly gets her arm around his neck. "You are a real man, Hunter Bloodhearth."
The night becomes morning and the two are sleeping, on the grass, on the dirt. She was cuddling him while he was laying on his back with his hand underneath her head. Robin was the first of the crew to wake up, she walks outside and sees the two.
She walked up to them, now she was centimeters away from the top of their heads. "Morning!" She shouted.
The two wake up, startled by the shout Robin executed. "Morning captain!" Said Hunter, still on the ground, Talia was up and already started cleaning herself of dirt. "So that's why you two were gone huh?"
Hunter slowly gets up and cleans himself as much as he can.
"I don't know what you are blabbing about… We've done nothing, haven't we?"
Talia hits Hunter. "We did nothing." She said, blushing, Robin pats Hunter on the shoulder. "So where are we heading next second in command?" Hunter walks past her and makes a hand gesture for them to follow him back into the ship.
The three silently walk in the ship, towards the command room. Talia looks away from Hunter. "So… Did something happen?" Robin asked again. "Nothing happened Robin, the girl said nothing happened, nothing happened." Said Hunter, now looking mad. They arrived at the command room.
"Set course towards Ferdin's lord domain, we are gonna plunder them, easy to beat, easy to plunder."
Robin pressed the location on the map, the ship closed the doors and raps. "Ready to sail when you want!" Hunter gets out of the command room. He walks up to the ship speaker for announcements.
"Attention all passengers or crew members, we will set sail for your first real plunder. Wake up and prepare yourselves for the flight."
He turns off the speaker and walks back to the command room. "When everyone is in the main deck then we can go." Hunter sits in a chair in the room looking in a vague direction. Robin thinks he wonders how they would plunder the place he proposed.
But Hunter in his mind, thinks: "What did I do last night?" Talia thinks the same, all she remembers is that he cried, she leaned on him, and it was somewhat cold. "We cuddled!!!" She screams in her mind. She looks down at the main deck people started to gather.
"Hunter, do you remember anything other than we talking?" Hunter shakes his head. Looking like he has done the unthinkable. "Why are you looking like that?" Hunter shakes his head, Robin enjoys this interaction, she sits on the captain seat and air eating popcorn.
"I believe we didn't do more than talking, no more than that… I am a widowed man with a daughter the same age as you…" She widens her eyes not believing what she is hearing "Your daughter is 35?" "You are 35?! You sound much younger!" Talia walks over to him and slaps him. "You didn't know how old I am?"
"Care to remember that I am blind, and you didn't tell me how old you are? And why are you acting up, we did nothing wrong…" Robin giggles. "Are you sure about that? I mean you have an old ass daughter." "My daughter is 21, I had her when I was 16" Both of the women widened their mouths and their ears and their brains couldn't believe what they heard.
"So how old are you?" Hunter does a facepalm. "Ok so when I left my daughter was 18, it's been 3 years so she's 21, I had her when I was 16 so that means I am 37, I am not that old you see…" He laughs knowing he looks 45-50 years old. The two can't put two and two together. "Ok now this is more concerning than what you to done together"
"We've done nothing!" Hunter shouts. "Not the point, you want me to believe that you're 37, and looking like an old man that you find on earth on the Athos mountain?" Hunter bobs his head. "I mean it is my hair growth and smoking that makes me look older."
Robin looks at her pack of cigarettes and throws it away in the trash can. "I won't smoke again…" She looks depressed, "But what happened to your wife, how did she die?" Robin asked, having no mercy on Hunter's emotions, she believes he has overcome her death.
"It happened 5-6 years ago, Libertan army charged my castle, my wife delivered our second daughter in the same moment, a blaster cannon blasted the castle medical center, killing the doctors, the little child" Tears came out of his eyes, the tears drop on the floor hastily one after another and sobbing. "They disintegrated in front of my eyes, nothing but ash."
Robin and Talia both started crying with him. "But my nephew helped me take revenge on those bastards, and that's why I am blind too." He takes a deep breath.
"Enough with the sad past, let's make a happy future."
