Hunter was celebrating with the crew on how they performed this job. "Glory to lord Bloodhearth and our Captain!" Shouted Talia raising an empty glass high. Hunter grabs Robin's hand and goes with her to the navigation, Talia, like a sly fox, follows.
"How far are we now from our previous objective?" Robin looks at the navigation table, "25 kilometers, why?" Hunter puts back his mask, "Tell your people to get in defensive positions."
Robin goes out of the room, and pressed a button below the speaker. "This is not a drill, get to your defenses!" Robin puts on her mask and walks back into the room. "Why?"
"Theodore, the king, has tech above your understanding, they have a 50 kilometer scan, and I am sure they did indeed scan." Hunter presses a random location on the navigation map to change positions. "We changed course so we won't lead them back to the Wildlands."
Robin looks at him with admiration, like how a student admires a teacher. They walk into the main deck. The crew running towards their posts, the weaponry, the shields, everything was ready for battle. "If you see an idiot on a mech, let him in." "Roger" said all the members of the crew.
Theodore was on Rinehart's mech. Behind them another 12 royal fighters ready for commands. "Objective in front of us, I want in, if this is who I think it is, he'll let me in."
The fighters shot at the ship, its shields were resistant. Rinehart sees a door left open, unpressurized, "They want you in!" He said, "Then let them have me." Rinehart gets closer so Theodore could jump in. He hastily gets in and sees 10 pirates looking at him from above, and a man with a mask, the mask had no eyes.
He sees two girls behind the man, one wearing an all black outfit, black boots, black leggings with a skirt, black t-shirt with a cloak over her, the cloak was black and its hood and a face mask prevented Hunter seeing who she is. The other one was wearing camo-like clothing, head to toe, and a face mask.
"King Theodore, I am the captain of this ship, he is my second in command. My name is The Dark Heart Robin." Robin points at Hunter, "my second in command will fight you."
The man charges at him, he casually dodges. "Not the best moves—" Before finishing his comment the man swipes his bat and Theodore starts falling to the ground. Theodore is impressed, but doesn't let this slide, while still in the air, in the falling, he tries to kick the man, the man dodges and pushes the leg away. Theodore falling to the ground, he rolls away from the man, getting distance. Theodore laughs. "So a good fighter, I see."
He starts looking at the man, trying to find out who he might be, and something clicks, he looks too familiar to be a coincidence, he knows that this is a Bloodhearth. "So who are you? Hunter?" Theodore charges at him, punching with his left hand and kicking with both legs. The mand blocks and sometimes dodge his attacks, the man sees an opportunity and tries to grab Theodore's rapier. Nothing was there. Theodore kicks him in the chest.
"I lost my rapier long ago, friend, so you knew about my blade being there." The man looks down, Theodore couldn't see, but he is disappointed. "That means you're close kin, so Hunter, or Alex. Alex hasn't been trained like Bloodhearth is, so that narrows down to you." The man pins Theodore to the ground and starts hitting him. Theodore tried to push him away, but he was too strong.
The man punching Theodore has one hand on Theodore's only arm. "Hunter stop!" Hunter knew every weakness Theodore had, and blind as he is he still proves Theodore in combat. "Milena is getting married you bas—" Hunter punched him one more time. "She is?"
Hunter gets Theodore to the door. "Tell her, I am not coming back to the lord's life, I'll come to her wedding tho. So make a good cake." He throws Theoodore out, he is now free falling.
