Theodore is about to hit the ground 10 meters or less, he closed his eyes. He doesn't feel the sensation of falling. Theodore opens his eyes and sees a white room, filled with objects unfamiliar to him, but the only thing familiar was a sigil on a pedestal. The sigil of Goddess of death Fey. "Am I– Dead?"
From behind him, a beauty of a woman shows up, her left hand was only bones, her right was meaty and alive, one of her eyes looks dead, while the other looks alive. She wears a beautiful smile and touches Theodore's left hand with her right.
"Wow, another Bloodheart here, 4 in 2 years, that's a feat" He creases his face with the skeleton hand, it feels cold and warm at the same time. "I am not dead yet am I?"
Theodore turns to her and smirks, her hand falls down and looks at him shocked.
"Well not yet, because I hold time, the time itself is frozen. I want to strike a deal." Theodore already knew she wasn't here to do any good. She brings a mirror and through it Theodore sees himself stopped in time. He smiles, looking fulfilled.
"Is known that Bloodhearths end their lives on their own terms, your father knew what he drank was poison, he didn't care. Your aunt and cousin not so much." Theodore feels frustrated and wants to tackle her, to kill her. He doesn't know if he can't kill a god, but the frustration itself can make him do it.
"Gods are afraid of you Theodore, they want you out of the afterlife. They know you're a mortal that won't just let himself die, so I am here to make a peace offer" Theodore already heard enough, he was mad, looking at the mirror he noticed that he actually is moving slowly. "You want to trick me– I won't give in"
He looks at the sigil. "Why is that sigil on the pedestal?" The Goddess chuckle. "Well that's our sign of patronage, whoever has one… We are forced to aid them." Theodore remembers his sigil, he remembers it always made him feel uneasy when he made bad decisions. He knows that the sigil he has is the same as the one in front of him.
He get closer to it. "So how much time do I have till I die?" The goddess looks at the mirror, "Well the speed of the time is set to the slowest, nearly frozen, but I can move it faster if that's what you want." Theodore grins at what idea came to his mind.
"What's with that grin?" She asked, she looked scared, the speed of time accelerates when she waved her hand upwards. Theodore looks at him falling. "Why are the gods are affraid of me?" The goddess looks scared of him. "You want to die, don't you!" Theodore shakes his head. "What was the deal, Death?"
She clears her throat, she feels uneasiness. "I want you to switch places with Seraphine, your artificial child." Theodore goes towards the mirror, he looks right through it.
"Bring me back to my body! I refuse this deal. She never lived her life like a normal person, if she doesn't live a life because of me, then I am a bigger monster than anything else" He looks serious, the Goddess snapped her fingers, knowing that Bloodhearths always have a plan.
Theodore now is free falling, he feels the breeze on his face. He looks in his inner pocket to check for the sigil, he takes it and throws it to the ground.
"Help me NARA! GODDESS OF VICTORY!"
Theodore closed his eyes with little hope of survival. He doesn't feel like falling, he opens his eyes and looks at the ground, two centimeters away from it.
Theodore somehow falls to the ground, he looks up to the sky and notices Nara, taking her hand back. He looks around, and Theodore notices the battle is still ongoing. "I need to stop it.
