-3rd POV-
*Thud*
"Ack-!"
Within an alley in Kivotos, a girl with a biker helmet got slammed into a wall. She wore a black uniform with a grey collar and skirt tied neatly with a yellow ribbon. Her halo was a neat shade of white contradicting her black attire. She has black socks and grey shoes and beside her was a rifle that no one in her gang would normally be seen using. A Lever-Action Model 94 Winchester Rifle.
"What's got you runnin' around in our turf ha?" What's got her in this trouble is the thug currently threatening her. They wore a blue tightly fitted uniform with a white ribbon and thigh height skirt. Simple blue shoes with seemingly no socks and a black face mask with an x covering her mouth. She wielded a standard model MP7.
"I... Ah..." The girl with a helmet couldn't muster any words. She just wanted to try something new, why did this type of thing happen to her.
"No excuses ha? Then I'll just beat ya black and blue till ya spit em out." The thug girl shot out threats. In Kivotos, the students were extremely resistant to all types of gun fire. They would truly only die if they're Halo shattered. At most, they'll only fall unconscious to continuous gunfire.
*TRTRTRTRTR*
Five shots rang out from the alley, but few would pay attention.
"Still not talkin? Then here's mo-" The thug was about to continue speaking, but an unexpected guest walked upon the alley.
She had gold flowing hair and gold eyes. This beautiful sight completely differed from the normal grey jacket and shorts that she was wearing. Not to mention she didn't have a halo.
It was Melissa with no disguise.
"What do you think your doing?" She stood near the entrance of the alley that lead to a bustling street. But when the thug locked eyes with Melissa, it felt as if a higher being peered into her. Melissa's gold eyes shone with a tint of red as she took a step closer.
"Now your the quiet one now? Speak." A rage filled Melissa, she didn't why she had this sense of justice, but seeing a student get bullied like this didn't sit well with her. It's like the GSC President's words echoed in her head when she saw it.
"I, ha! Your not a student, you don't have a h-halo!" The thug exclaimed when rationalizing the situation. She aimed toward Melissa but hesitated. If she fired at a normal person, they'd be severely injured or even die
Melissa didn't care, all she knew is that her target, a bully was fighting back. So she continued walking forward with unparalleled "calm". With her eyes glowing, her hair started shining gold as well, as if the sun or a god were walking down the alley.
So the thug, only did one of two things when in fear, shoot.
*TRTRTRTRTRTRTR-*
She continued dumping her magazine with sweat dropping down her head. But a sight no one would be able to guess would happen.
Students in Kivotos can tank, dodge and take cover under fire. But a normal person can't do any of those things in the heat of a moment, especially not what happened next.
She caught every bullet. Finishing with her arms in an x and her eyes peering into the thug above her crossed arms. She opened her hands and bullets fell from her palms, smoke hissing from them.
"I recommend you be a good girl now and report yourself to a teacher or adult, lest you want me to show you what else these hands can do, hm?" Melissa's voice echoed in the now silent alley. The thug shook in fear and fell to her knees while listening to the voice.
Melissa walked towards the scared Thug and glanced at the helmet girl. 'She's been silent the entire time and hasn't made a peep. She hasn't moved an inch either.'
"S-stay back..." The thug lost all her previous gusto and now shakily held the MP7 with both hands while on the ground. With each step Melissa took, the thug grew even more fearful of Melissa. To the point where she was losing touch with reality.
Seeing the now fearful girl, Melissa stopped and instead offered a hand to the downed helmet girl.
"Let's go." Simple words, but it sounded cold and commanding. The girl just stared at the offered hand, not uttering a word. Melissa then scratched the back of her head with her other hand and made another decision.
"Up you go then." Effortlessly, she picked up the girl by the back of her collar and put her on her shoulders. Then slowly began walking away. The height of the two girls certainly made the position look weird, especially since Melissa is firefighter carrying the girl.
But before leaving, Melissa made sure to grab the Rifle. A student without a firearm in this world would be weird. While holding the girl and weapon, she turned to face the Thug once more.
"I hope you learned your lesson I guess~" In a tone that didn't suit the death stare she gave, Melissa spoke with sass and no care whatsoever.
"EEep!" The thug closed her eyes and shot on accident while dropping her gun.
The bullet soar and flew straight to Melissa. But as it was about a few inches away, it disappeared into 'thin air'. This moment was the last straw before the thug fainted due to horror and shock.
Melissa then let out a sigh and began walking away and out of the alley. The helmet girl didn't say nor do anything and just accepted her fate. She looked towards the Thug girl only to find her body and gun gone as well. Widening her eyes in shock she slowly looked to Melissa through her visor only to see a grin.
"I'm gonna make sure your okay and... we'll talk." Melissa had muttered and spoke ominously leaving a chill in the air for the helmet girl to feel.
'What's gonna happen to me?' She thought in worry.
Anyway, this is plot relevant and I will get to whatever happened last chapter in the next one~
Also, take a guess of what Melissa's powers are or whatever. It's no surprise since I've 'subtly' dropped them before through her eye descriptions.
Cya next time~
