-Melissa POV-
'She's quite light...' I've been firefighter carrying this girl for awhile and about halfway to my secondary living quarters I just piggy backed her.
I bought several areas of residence for my plans. How I bought them includes a lot of... comedic financial gain.
-Flashback-
"Boss!" An employee at a bank rushed in.
"You seem rushed, what's the problem?" The strange TV headed boss inquired.
"M-money has been taken out of every account in our system!" The worker exclaimed, with bated breath.
"What?! How much?!" The manager slammed his hands onto his table and asked his employee with eyes of shock.
"10 cents from every account!" The employee seriously and dramatically declared.
"What?"
"What?"
... That day, Kitvotos' greatest heist occurred. resulting in the total funds of 0.1% of the population going to one person.
-Present-
'Ah, no one was the wiser surprisingly.' A smug grin was plastered onto my face as I unlocked my door and walked in. I places the Winchester atop a nearby table then slowly let the girl stand on her own.
"Make sure to take off your shoes. I'll grab a Med kit, sit on the couch." I made my way though the entrance into the living room. Afterwards I deftly entered the bathroom and took out the kit from a small cabinet below the sink.
I hear some footsteps and a plop sound. 'Seems she listened.'
I made my way back into the living room and saw the girl still wearing her helmet and slowly removing her fingerless gloves.
Walking around the couch I ask, "I recommend taking off the helmet. I need to make sure you aren't bruised under there or suffering from anything involving the word 'blunt'." I place the Med kit onto the table and open it while she flinches at my sudden voice and request.
"I..." Barely a peep out of her still. I sigh and face her with a kind smile.
"I won't bite, just here to help. Also, tell me your name, I'm Melissa Cardon." I talk to her like a normal person. Get to know the patient and make them comfortable. Best way to slowly devolve into information and getting to know them better.
Facing her, I see her flinch once more and attempting to avoid my gaze. "I'm, Abigale Winchester..."
'Winchester...' I take a quick glance at the rifle atop a table then back to the girl. I then get closer to the girl.
"Is it alright if I check your condition? Such as arms, legs and your torso? If your uncomfortable with taking off your helmet, there isn't a need too." I continue using sweet words while watching the girl. Eventually I see a slight nod and her rolling up her sleeves.
'Good, no need to show too much skin...' Inwardly, I praise her for not jumping the gun. I then get closer and take a look at her arm.
"Hm, there are some bruises due to close range bullet fire. It would need some bandaging and medicine." I grab some gauss from the Med Kit and some wipes.
"Mind telling me what you were doing there?" I disinfect the injuries while trying to stir conversation.
"Um..." She stayed silent for a bit until gathering up the courage to speak.
"I wanted to try out a firearm different from usual..." I could hear her voice shaking behind the helmet. Her next question did bring me a bit under distress.
"Also... What happened to that girl? I turn to see her body just slowly disappear." I nervously gulp some saliva and think of how to explain.
'I shoved that unconscious thug into my inventory... Well, more like my ability.' After receiving or remembering some memories of this body, I formulated the powers I currently have. Whatever that pink being is, obviously is a form of god.
Firstly, if I could give or designate my ability with one word, it would be "Storage". Essentially, it like the concept of storage is what I am... or something like that. It's hard to describe, but that's essentially the gist of it.
Secondly, and yes, secondly, that previous ability is something the original 'Mel' had, but I guess she never trained it in the past, especially since it's so strong now.
Lastly, is the ability that God has given me. All I know is that it has something to do with my eyes and intentions. When I was confused due to the dream, I woke up and looked into the mirror to discover my eyes ha a strange green tint over them with question marks in place of my pupils. It like it projects my emotions into a physic attack in a way? I'm not to sure.
*Thud*
So in the end, instead of confusing myself any further, I just opened my inventory and dropped the unconscious Thug onto my floor.
"Ah! W-where did she..." Abigale began pointing her finger towards me and then the unconscious girl. I just smiled and decided to do something shocking. I pointed to her eyes through her visor.
"Close your eyes real quick, I'll tell you when to open them." Even if she didn't, I'm still gonna do this. So I just stored her helmet off her head.
Her eyes were clearly still open and holy hell she was cute. Her hair was the same shade of brown on the Model 70 Winchester with lighter and darker shades here and there. Her eyes were a like looking through the lens of a scope, a clear sight of myself could be seen off of them. Her skin looked supple and well cared for. None of this beauty could be seen through that helmet.
"I- Wa- Ababaababababab-" She was short circuiting and it was adorable. God, this world of Blue Archive truly is amazing.
*Plop*
'Oh, she fainted.' Abigale had fallen onto my couch with steam coming off her head. I'll just let her rest. I turn to the still unconscious Thug and decide to have some fun.
With a grin, I pull out a long rope out of my inventory and some lights.
This chapter ain't no joke. But I sure as hell am, especially with how tired life is rn.
If yall have any question launch away, I'll answer them when I wake up.
