"How long has it been?" Mr. Mateo asked after he let go of Mr. Hafiz.
"A long time sir." Mr. Hafiz answered and suddenly remembers his friend. He felt sad and then suddenly his eyes went to Diego who looked almost the same as his dad, the younger version of Juan Garcia Wylder.
"Diego, looking all grown up. How have you been my son?" He asked and gave Diego a manly patt on his back, Diego smiled like a decent boy and greeted Mr. Hafiz, even asking about his health.
"How have you been sir?" Diego asked and Mr. Hafiz answered proudly.
"Very well, as you can see from the house."
"And where is my second daughter-in-law?" Mr. Mateo asked, referring to Maryam 's mom.
"Didn't you hear? Maryam! Didn't you tell them?" Mr. Hafiz asked his daughter.
"I forgot to tell them." Maryam said and Mr. Hafiz explained to them.
"Maryam's mother is dead."
