"She has some guts." Diego said and laughed at Aida's disappointed face before leaving.
"Whenever I am talking, do not ever involve yourself. Don't even think that we can ever be close, you sly witch." Mrs. Lucia said to her and left as well. Aida stood looking angry for a while before leaving the room.
They all sat down on the chairs at the dinning ready to eat, Miss Araceli sat opposite her sister Sofia, who was sitting at the right hand side next to her husband who sat at the head of the table, Mrs. Lucia sat next to her mother-in-law and Diego sat opposite her on the left side next to his grand aunt. Aida came in quickly and was about to sit down when she heard Mr. Mateo say to her.
"That's Mylar's seat, she only got up to go and get us our meal which you should have done as my daughter."
The others were surprised by his words to her but they smiled feeling contented and happy that Aida was scolded because of a woman lower to her standards.
