I watched as Naomi gave me a look over for the umpteenth time since she wore the black netty gown that her mother had gifted her on her last birthday, and sighed. I felt a bit disoriented about my friend's look over.
"Naomi...say something." I drawled, not even sure what I wanted her to say.
She has been the one making me up all this while, and now all of a sudden, just when we are about to leave, she turned and began to look me over.
Why? I don't know. This my friend could be weird some times, mostly in a fun way.
"I'm lost for words." She replied, her face clothed with awe and honesty as she voiced her opinions.
"A good lost of words or a bad lost of words." I asked, earning a burst of laughter from her.
"What the hell is that suppose to mean?" She inquired, still laughing.
"I don't know. You weren't saying anything." I replied with a shrug, still standing at attention, waiting for the approval of my friend.
