Chapter 4 - Rebellion

The door to the great council hall of the headquarters was opened. The soldier who entered, apologized to eight pairs of eyes looking at him, informed them that the envoy sent for the deal did not return when he was supposed to, so the envoy was probably no longer alive. Then asked permission and left.

"This is sheer arrogance!" said Monica Mihalovich. She hit the table so hard that the glass on the table splashed and fell to the ground and shattered.

"Calm down, Major Mihalovich! We expected something like this to happen to the envoy we sent to make a deal with Gonzales," said Abdullah bin Ali. He aimed to calm the bulky woman, but his words only angered her even more.

"Is that how you work things out, Your Royal Highness? Are you sending your men on a mission knowing they are going to die? Knowing that it will not do any good for them to go... If I were you, I would stop this nonsense that you and the General are doing under the name of the peaceful movement, and I would send an army to their border." said Major.

Although her military rank from the old-world is lower than a general right now, the woman, whom most people at the table feared, threw her blond hair that she had gathered from her head behind her, waiting for an answer from the other two. She was right indeed...

The man called Gonzales was counted in the top five on the list of the strongest secondars of this era. He was a feudal lord who had important lands in the west and south of the places where human settlements are now in the world. More precisely, he was a virus freak who thought he was noble.

He was known in both the primar camps and SOU for his hate and despise towards primars. He had recently rebelled against SOU, slaying most of the primars on his land, and imprisoned the rest in his castle.

According to Monica Mihalovich, the blame was on the moderate and supportive behavior of the western representative, General William Eldrich Oliver Miler, and the southern representative, Abdullah bin Ali. Because of these behaviors, such incidents were always coming from the south and west.

She was applying such a discipline in the north that even if such incidents occurred, they were settled without being brought to the council. The organization was established for the good of all people and anyone who disregards the organization's rules should be punished immediately.

"After this time, there is nothing to be done for Gonzales. But the real problem is that we do not know how many surviving primars he has left. Their numbers may dimmish with each passing minute, or he may have killed them all at all. Gathering an army takes a long time and the primar can be damaged in the conflict with the army." said Nicolas Mine, who wanted to return to the main topic. Apparently, other solutions had to be offered by the army.

The discussion went on for another half hour. Mihalovich still insisted on the army. Two of the primar representatives suggested that a small group of high-numbered soldiers who could get the job done as quickly as possible, rather than the military, should handle it. But the problems did not change no matter how many ideas were put forward.

Gonzales himself was already hard to beat since he was from the big five. On top of that, there was an unknown number of private soldiers in his castle. There were also primers in between.

Oliver Miler, who remained silent since the beginning of the session, put the end to the discussion. General Miler said he could fix this case within 24 hours. If this uprising was his fault, then he had to deal with it. With a ton of question marks in their minds, they all closed the council session by giving command of this job to Oliver Miler.

...

Reira Miler burst into her father's room in anger. She had learned that her father was handling this difficult task, and she was nervous. Although she was so excited, his father was quite calm.

However, she had undertaken the task of waging war against one of the big five. Seeing her father's calmness, she also tried to calm herself. She swallowed and asked her father how he planned to do this.

General pretended not to hear the question, "Since when do you enter someone's room without permission, Reira?" he asked. Realizing her mistake and apologizing, his daughter repeated her question. It was not the fault of the woman. She was worried about her father after all. However, she still did not get an answer to her question.

She stared for a moment at her father, who was sitting at his desk looking at a few documents. Then she could not stand it, "Dad! For God's sake, tell me, what are you going to do? It is not that easy to handle this job... within 24 hours... I wonder if there is anything I can do," said Reira.

After getting no answer for five minutes, she sat down in one of the armchairs by the table. She thought a little.

There were many soldiers in the organization whose secondar ability was unimaginable, and undoubtedly the most mysterious soldiers were under the command of her father.

There was no official order within the organization to enter a single administrative order. Every soldier was responsible for fulfilling the task assigned by any ruler. However, most soldiers unofficially worked under a particular ruler, and their true abilities were only known by that ruler.

The general had soldiers he called "my weapons" who could handle this job. Still, Reira could not find someone who could defeat one of the big five and many powerful soldiers under his command and suppress this rebellion.
