As I contemplated strategies to defeat the Direwolves, I gathered everyone and silently pondered,
"Hmm... It appears that I can not rely on them to offer much resistance against the Direwolves. They seem rather weak and frail... This situation is quite daunting."
Then I addressed the group, raising my voice, and asked,
"Does everyone comprehend the gravity of the situation?"
The son of the village leader promptly responded,
"Yes! We are prepared to fight with our lives on the line!"
I reassured them, saying,
"There's no need to be overly anxious. Take a moment to relax and simply focus on giving your best effort."
"I am truly embodying the qualities of a good leader at this moment."
I then addressed the group again, stating,
"Now, guide me to the location where your injured Orcs are being cared for, and Shreder, could you please scout the surrounding area?"
"Yes, master."
The Orcs then led Ken to a small house where they had gathered all the injured Orcs. As Ken and the village leader entered the house, Ken observed the sight of numerous injured Orcs. Ken observed the Orcs lying unconscious on the ground. The village leader approached him and stated,
"We have done our best to treat them."
I responded,
"These cuts are deeper than I anticipated. Could the claws and fangs of the Direwolves have caused this?... Well, I suppose I will give it a try."
With that, I began chanting my skill called ALL HEAL, using it to heal all the injured Orcs. The village leader exclaimed,
"Oh! Their... their wounds!"
I nonchalantly remarked,
"Oh, I guess it's quite easy!"
All the Orcs who had been healed knelt before me, expressing their gratitude. I muttered to myself,
"So, that's all the injured, huh?"
Then I addressed everyone, saying,
"Well... let's build a fence! We need to strengthen our village defences!"
They replied,
"Yes, sir!"
I thought to myself,
"This new life feels like a video game."
As the Orcs worked diligently to construct the fences and fortify the village defenses, they completed the task just as the sun began to set. The Orcs prepared themselves for the inevitable nightly attacks from the Direwolves. Shreder reported to me,
"Master, all the Direwolves are approaching the village. Shall I eliminate them all?"
I responded,
"No, I want the Orcs to witness my power."
"Okay, master, as you wish..."
Suddenly, a howl echoed through the air, signaling the arrival of the Direwolves' leader. The leader addressed his pack, declaring,
"It's a good evening. It's time to attack this village once again! Tonight, we shall destroy the Orcs' village and claim dominance over the Mystic Forest!"
The Direwolves howled in agreement, their determination evident.
"We shall become the rulers of this forest! Our claws will tear through any monsters that dare stand in our way! Our fangs will sink into their bodies!"
The Direwolves howled once more, signaling their readiness to charge towards the Orc village. As the Direwolves drew closer to the village, their leader noticed the newly constructed fences surrounding it. He scoffed, saying,
"Hmm! Do they really think a mere fence will defend their village?!"
His son said,
"Father, there's another creature standing in front of their village."
The leader of the Direwolves caught sight of Ken, realizing,
"A Human? No, a DeathBringer?"
I confidently addressed the Direwolves, stating,
"If you leave now, no one needs to die."
The leader of the Direwolves defiantly replied,
"We won't back down to a mere DeathBringer! You can't possibly order us Direwolves around! Destroy those fences! We shall slaughter the Orcs and that foolish DeathBringer!"
Some of the Direwolves launched an attack on the village, but I swiftly outmaneuvered them, effortlessly eliminating the threat. The leader of the Direwolves exclaimed,
"What! Such audacity from a mere DeathBringer! I will easily kill you!"
He charged towards me while the village leader shouted,
"Great Ken!"
Shreder reassured the Orcs, saying,
"Relax, my master has got this."
As the leader of the Direwolves leaped towards me, he found himself disoriented, realizing too late that he had been beheaded by my swift strike. The other Direwolves stood in shock, witnessing the demise of their leader. I addressed the deceased leader, remarking,
"You brought this upon yourself. Listen, Direwolves! Your leader is dead! I offer you a choice: Serve me or face death!"
Suddenly, a mysterious voice spoke to me, informing me that I had acquired a unique skill called DIRE SPEED, which would enhance my movements. I pondered,
"Oh! Another unique skill! But... I didn't level up, huh?"
Undeterred, I utilized my skill SHADOW SUMMON to summon the shadow of the Direwolves' leader. The dark shadow emerged from the fallen leader's body, emitting a powerful howl that resonated with the remaining Direwolves. Overwhelmed by my display of power, the Direwolves kneeled before me, pledging their allegiance,
"We will serve you Master
I responded,
"Good choice."
The Orc leader inquired,
"Does this mean we have won?"
I replied,
"Ah, yes, it appears so."
Shreder nodded and added,
"I told you, Master could handle them."
The Orcs rejoiced in their victory, celebrating the unexpectedly swift end to the battle of the Orc village. As the Orcs celebrated their victory in battle, the air was filled with a sense of triumph and exhilaration. The sound of roars and cheers echoed through the blood-stained fields, where the fallen enemy lay defeated. Amongst the chaos and jubilation, I approached Shreder and requested a favor.
"Shreder, can you scout the village until tomorrow? I need to sleep; I'm exhausted,"
I implored, my voice strained from the intensity of the fight. Shreder bowed his head and replied,
"As you wish, master."
With that, he set off towards the village, his eyes sharp and his senses heightened. Meanwhile, I found solace in the branches of a nearby tree. Fatigue overwhelmed me as I closed my eyes and succumbed to the sleep I so desperately needed. The world around me slowly faded away, and I drifted into a deep slumber. In the tranquil moments that followed, the leader of the village approached Shreder, curiosity etched across his face.
"Sir Shreder, do you know where the Great Ken is?"
he asked, desperate to catch a glimpse of the valiant warrior. Shreder met the leader's gaze with a calm demeanor.
"He is currently sleeping,"
he informed, his voice carrying a hint of protectiveness.
"Do not disturb him. His body and mind need rest after the arduous battle."
The leader of the village nodded in understanding and replied,
"Oh... I see. Please convey my deepest appreciation to Great Ken"
With those words, the village leader turned and walked towards the lively celebration, where the Orcs reveled in their triumph. Meanwhile, as Shreder patrolled the surrounding area, he cast his eyes towards the sky, marveling at its vastness.
His thoughts wandered, and he couldn't help but reflect on his fortune in having such a powerful and kind master ken. Shreder knew that his strength and compassion were rare qualities in their war-torn world. His mind filled with admiration and gratitude, Shreder couldn't help but recollect the countless battles they had fought alongside each other. Their bond was unbreakable, forged through the trials and tribulations they had faced as a united force. Shreder's loyalty to his master was unwavering, and he vowed to protect Ken at any cost. While Shreder continued his vigilant patrol, Ken still slumbered high above in the branches of the tree.
In my dreams, images of the battlefield danced before my closed eyes. I pictured myself as the strongest, my name revered by all. With each passing moment, my determination to reach the pinnacle of strength grew stronger.
