"Shifters, we are not here for this!" Stan Morgan interjected, and a heavy silence fell over the assembly. Alpha Benjamin continued to glare angrily at the Alpha who had been speaking.
"Alpha Max, please proceed with your suggestion," Stan Morgan instructed as he sat back in his seat.
"Well, since they are now married, I believe the only viable solution is to initiate her into the feral brotherhood, and both women should be taught how to live in unity. If the human refuses initiation, we may have to consider more drastic measures," Alpha Max suggested.
"She doesn't have any living parents!" Luna Rita added.
"Aren't you her guardian?" Alpha Max inquired.
"Are you out of your mind? We cannot stand in for her!" Alpha Benjamin stood up and howled, leaving Alpha Max at a loss for words. A tense silence gripped the hall.
