Kassidy Dean didn't suspect a thing and answered honestly, "I didn't return to the apartment last night, so how could senior know? But today senior offered me a ride, I said I was going to meet a friend, and I rejected senior's offer."
Bella Scott chuckled, this further verified her conjecture.
Martez Parkerr was a control freak, probably afraid Kassidy would be snatched away by other men, so he followed her, wanting to see if her friend was male or female, and a potential romantic rival.
After chatting with Kassidy, Bella gave Martez a call.
As the phone connected, Bella uttered the truth, "You're following Elora, right? She thought a bad guy was following her and got scared. I advise you not to act too hastily, it would only make her more suspicious. Also, the person she's meeting today is me."
Martez, watching Kassidy about to board the subway in front of him, replied indifferently, "You're overthinking."
Then he hung up, and didn't follow Kassidy anymore.
