Saylor Bennett's face flushed with anger, and she said furiously, "Even if you were stark naked, Edward Anderson wouldn't give you a second glance. Just look at yourself, not quite male or female, what normal man would be interested in you?"
For a man like Edward Anderson, it's even more impossible for him to be interested in Bella Scott; otherwise, he wouldn't have fled from the wedding two years ago.
Bella Scott wasn't angry when she heard the words "neither male nor female." She'd heard this phrase since childhood, and it has lost its sting, but that doesn't mean Saylor Bennett has the right to judge her.
She retorted, "Edward Anderson didn't push me away, which shows he's quite interested in me..."
Bella Scott didn't finish her sentence before Edward Anderson threw her onto the bed. She landed dizzily and heard Saylor Bennett's triumphant laughter.
Damn it, Edward! He just had to cut her down in front of Saylor Bennett.
Edward Anderson's gaze shifted, not looking at Bella Scott's exposed chest. He found one of his jackets and threw it over her.
Only then did Bella Scott realize she'd exposed herself after rushing out with just a bath towel wrapped around her. In other words, had Edward Anderson seen everything?
She quickly put on the jacket, suddenly feeling slightly uncomfortable.
It was then that Saylor Bennett realized where the problem lay. Her face changed colors as she pointed at Bella Scott's nose and said, "That's Edward Anderson's clothes! I won't allow you to wear them! Take them off at once!"
She never had the chance to wear Edward Anderson's clothes, how could she let this mannish woman wear them?
This feeling was unbearable, like Edward Anderson had slept with Bella Scott or something!
Bella raised an eyebrow, feigning a smile. "Who do you think you are to him? You sure like to stick your nose in! "
Saylor Bennett was caught off guard by the question and noticed Edward Anderson walked away into the bathroom. She shouted without thinking, "I am his fiancée. Soon, he will be my husband!"
Bella Scott's grin widened at the answer. If Saylor Bennett found out that Edward Anderson was on Bella Scott's family register -- now Bella's legal husband -- would she be furious enough to jump off a building?
"What are you laughing at?!" Saylor Bennett glared at Bella Scott: "I'm not joking. Our families have already started discussing our marriage alliance. I'll marry Edward Anderson and become his new bride soon. Don't worry, I'll invite you to our wedding."
"Fine by me. I'll invite you to my wedding, too," Bella Scott replied with a nonchalant half-grin.
"I'll definitely be there. I'll even accompany Edward Anderson to the ceremony and give you a huge gift. If our schedules permit, we might even have our weddings on the same day."
Upon hearing Saylor Bennett's last sentence, Bella Scott couldn't help but burst into laughter.
Saylor Bennett had no clue why Bella Scott was laughing like this, but she instinctively felt that it wasn't a good sign.
"What are you laughing at? I'm serious! When the time comes, I'll have Edward Anderson accompany me to your wedding," Saylor Bennett blurted out, just as Edward Anderson walked out of the bathroom.
Bella Scott jumped off the bed, rushing over to Edward Anderson. "Edward, Saylor Bennett just told me that you two are getting married soon. Is that true? If you and Saylor Bennett do get married, whether you invite me or not, will I be there?"
Edward Anderson glanced at Bella Scott's wide-open neckline, which seemed as if she hadn't worn anything at all. He roughly pulled the collar of the jacket together until it concealed her entire chest before letting go.
