"Tomorrow? Mom, did you forget? You promised to take me to the planetarium tomorrow," Thomas was puzzled, and Emma just nodded, "then, after the planetarium, we can buy the gift."
Thomas was easy to appease. After his bath, Emma took him back to his room and told him a story.
After a while, Thomas clasped his pillow, "Mom, I think Uncle Thomson will still bring me the robot. Maybe when I wake up, the robot will be right in front of my bed."
Emma looked at Thomas and didn't say anything for a while. She didn't know what to say to him, so she just said: "Go to sleep."
"Okay." Thomas nodded. Emma turned off the light and closed the door for him. As she walked back to her room, she thought about how sweet and happy their days had been when they were together. But when he was gone, the feeling was completely different.
