"Have you discussed this matter with Robert?"
Dylan King said, "I came here personally because I couldn't find them. I don't have Robert Thomson's phone number, and I don't know his specific address. When I call his office, I always get redirected. I really had no choice but to visit you."
Alexander Thomson frowned and, without thinking, looked at Avery Clark and said, "Call him."
"Me?" Avery Clark was still a bit unfamiliar with her husband's authoritative tone of command. Their marital relationship was always cold and detached.
Alexander Thomson looked at her again, clearly meaning "if not you, then who?" Not wanting to embarrass her husband in front of others, she immediately picked up the phone and called Robert Thomson.
After only two rings, the call went through, and faint laughter could be heard from the other side. Soon, Robert Thomson's voice came through: "Mom, what's up? Is there something wrong?"
