"Robert, there's something I'm not sure if I should say." David Thomson glanced at the two people chatting enthusiastically across from him, his voice suddenly softer.
"Is the child in her belly really yours?"
Robert Thomson glared at him furiously: "What do you mean? In the worst case, I'll do a paternity test in secret after it's born to shut you all up!"
After venting his anger, he added confidently: "She has only been with me."
David hesitated, "I don't know, it just feels too unexpected. She was criticized so harshly before, and all sorts of things were said about her. Then suddenly the child isn't hers, and she even sold herself to you for the child. I don't know what to say about her."
"What do you mean 'sold herself'?" Robert was furious, "I was the one who set my sights on her, and I forced her to stay with me."
