Oliver wasn't worried about his dad at all. If he dared to get angry at him, he would immediately run to his mom and tattle, making him sleep in the living room tonight!
Last time Robert talked to his brother on the phone, he hadn't bought a dog yet. Obviously, it was Oliver who insisted on buying it.
"Oh, I forgot to invite you all in! It's so cold outside, it's not good for the child to be out here." Charlotte smiled and glanced at Emma's belly, then welcomed them all in.
Emma probably knew what she meant but didn't say anything. To be honest, she got along well with her sister-in-law-to-be, if it weren't for the previous incident.
But since that happened, pretty much everyone in Swallow City knew that she came with a "baggage" and was dumped by Robert. Now he eagerly took her back, so it must be awkward for David and Charlotte, the eldest brother and sister-in-law, right?
