"Really? Then I'll also go and thank Dr. Edwards later." Emma Smith wiped the tears on her face and said.
"Dr. Edwards should come to check on Thomas later. You'll see him then." Doctor Lee said with a smile.
"I understand, thank you anyway. I'll go back and check on Tommy first." Emma nodded.
"Thomas is in the intensive care unit. Once the anesthesia wears off, he can be allowed out. You can go and take a look. If he wakes up, let him get up." Doctor Lee instructed.
"I know, I'll be careful." After Emma said that, she nodded to Doctor Lee and headed towards the elevator.
The ICU and the operating room in the hospital were not on the same floor. The operating room was deliberately arranged on the top floor. Emma saw that the elevator wasn't coming soon, so she went to the staircase nearby.
