Originally, Andrew Lee planned to stay in the hospital, but the rules only allowed one person to stay for care. As Emma Smith chose to stay, he couldn't.
"Alright, you two should also rest well. Tommy, say goodnight to Uncle Andrew." Andrew leaned down and spoke to Thomas Smith, who was in Emma's arms.
"Goodnight, Uncle Andrew." Thomas stretched his little head out of Emma's arms and sweetly said to Andrew.
"Mhm, goodnight, Tommy, goodnight, Emma." Andrew bent down to pat Thomas's head and then addressed Emma.
"Tommy, let's say goodbye to Uncle Andrew." Emma smiled at Andrew and spoke softly to Thomas in her arms.
Thomas nodded, got out of Emma's arms, stood on the ground, held Andrew's outstretched big hand, and walked with the other hand pulling Emma towards the exit.
Andrew opened the door, let go of Thomas's hand, and said to the mother and son, "You two go back, and close the door." After that, he nodded to Emma and headed to the elevator.
