He stood beside his mother, watching her feed his little sister, feeling a little uneasy himself.
Emma Smith was also a bit tired. However, seeing the pitiful look on Thomas Smith's face, she still called him over:
"Tommy."
Thomas raised his head and looked at Emma. He knew it was because of him that Grandma and that new grandma had an argument. He was so scared that because of him, Mom and Grandma would be driven out by that new grandma, fearing that Mom would give him up for his little sister.
"Mom, Tommy will be good. Please don't leave me." He was about to cry. Recalling what just happened, his little heart began to tremble.
"I, I'll help Grandma." Mrs. Smith's face was covered with marks from Avery Clark's scratching. He immediately ran over to help soothe the wound on his mother's face, hoping to make her feel better.
