Chapter 34 - Awake

Aurora was brought to the inn and was interogated but she remained calm and kept to her words, "I don't have anything to do with the curse!"

"Is that so? Let's leave that aside for now. Tell me how you are able to plant those flowers?" Logan questioned his eyes fixed on the red haired woman seated on the ground.

Azure's voice was then Heard, "You do know that you have absolutely no excuses to growing those plants as it's a spiritual plant!"

"So what are you arresting me for, is it for causing the villages curse or because I happen to practice spiritual planting?"

Aurora asked her eyes staring sharply at Azure, "We'll ask you this question for one last time, Do you have absolutely anything to do with this curse?"

He asked one more time but yet he got the same Answer.

"No! I don't!"

"In that case, Guards!! Lock her up, when she finally decides to confess then can she be let out!"

Logan instructed as his men nodded and did just as they were told.

Logan then stood up and walked towards Cemallia's room as he opened the door to see his wife laying on the bed.

She was breathing normally and sleeping peacefully but she wasn't waking up.

He walked towards her side as he then took a seat beside her, his black coffee eyes not leaving her.

He wished that those green dazzling eyeys of her could stare at him one more like it Did.

He then took hold of her soft hands as he squeezed it slightly, "Wake up Camellia!"

Still trapped in her dream, Camellia froze at Nemellia's words, "You also Committed an Atrocity Cemallia," she heard her say.

"W-what are you talking about?" Camellia voiced out but once again Nemellia disappeared and it all went dark.

"Nemellia! Nemellia? Come back, whede did you go?" She looked around but also darkness was in sight.

Just then she heard whispered coming from every corner.

"You fell for a mortal, you killed your sister, you killed your child."

"You fell for a mortal, you killed your sister, you killed your child."

"You fell for a mortal, you killed your sister, you killed your child."

Those words repeated itself again and again as uncontrollable tears fell from camellia's eyes as she tried running away but wherever she went she saw darkness, wherever she went she heard those words.

Camellia found herself trapped in an abyss of darkness. The shadows enveloped her, suffocating her spirit and weighing heavily on her heart. With every step she took, it felt as though the darkness was pulling her deeper into its clutches. Desperation consumed her as tears streamed down her face, her cries echoing in the emptiness.

She couldn't take it anymore, she fell down on the ground as she continued to cry and cry, "N-no I didn't! I DIDN'T do such, I didn't kill my sister! I didn't kill my child! NO!"

She said to herself as she shivered in fear.

But just as she thought all hope was lost, a sudden flash of light shattered the darkness, piercing through the gloom. It was a beacon of hope, a lifeline in the abyss. And within that light, she heard a familiar voice. It was Logan, her husband.

His voice, filled with love and concern, breathed life into her soul. "Wake up, Camellia!" Logan called out, his words cutting through the darkness like a sword. It was the sound she yearned for, the sound that reminded her of warmth and safety.

Summoning all her strength, Camellia fought against the gravitational force of the darkness. With determination in her eyes, she mustered the courage to run towards the light, inch by inch, heart pounding with anticipation.

And with a surge of relief and triumph, Camellia finally broke free from the clutches of the darkness. As she emerged into the waking world, there he was seated beside her, his eyes wide open in shock and relieved to see her awake. Without hesitation, she collapsed into his embrace, holding onto him as if her life depended on it.

Tears continued to flow down Camellia's cheeks, a mixture of the lingering fear from her dream and the overwhelming relief of waking up and finding herself in the arms of her beloved. In that moment, she clung to him, feeling the strength that surrounded her like a shield.

Logan just kept quiet and let her cry, he didn't know why she was crying but so far she was now awake and in his arms, All hope was now found.
