Chapter 7 - Goddess in the Humans World!

Patricia Quinna Kash, a 22-year-old young billionaire and British supermodel, is currently walking in the hallway towards Lay's father's casket. Of course, who doesn't know her and wouldn't be shocked to see her in the simple mansion of the bereaved Fererros?

She is wearing a black cocktail dress reaching an inch above her knees, black heels, and her left hand holding a small black handbag. She effortlessly looked magnificent, like a Goddess in the human world.

Every light sway of her hips looked so graceful, and it's as if she owns the place and is a pageant queen, but her gaze was fixed at the casket with a little sadness on her face.

Lay was totally mesmerized by her dazzling blue eyes for a moment as their eyes met when she passed by. "What is she doing here?" Lay asked in his mind. He just stared at her back, while the girl seemed to be praying for the dead man.

Jia, who is currently talking to her two friends, couldn't believe that Quinna was here, and she saw her with her naked eyes. She admires her beauty so much but only sees her on television and in magazines.

She couldn't help but wonder: What is her connection to her dead husband? Well, she immediately walked towards the girl.

"Hi!" Jia said, but Quinna didn't mind her. "I'm Leo's wife." She introduced herself, hoping to get the girl's attention.

Quinna just glanced at her with a poker face. "You're so lucky to be his second wife." A few words she said seemed to have a deep meaning, and then she immediately approached Lay.

"Luche!" She smiled a little and kissed his cheeks, which made Lay very surprised. His heart suddenly beats erratically, like it wanted to jump out, thinking how soft the lips that have touched his cheeks are.

Quinna had already sat in the chair beside him, but he still hadn't moved or spoken until he managed to blink his eyes twice.

Lay turned around to look at the girl beside him, only to see that she was staring at him too, which just made him feel awkward, so he turned his head immediately to avoid having eye contact with her. "Who are you?" He asked.

Her brows furrowed, and she was still staring at him as if she were memorizing every detail on his face. "You didn't know me?"

"Who will not know you in China, England, and America? You're the youngest self-made billionaire and a popular supermodel in the whole world anyway."

Quinna sighed after hearing it. "You've forgotten about me already."

Her words just triggered Lay's curiosity and made him steal a glance at her. "You seemed to have known my father. Have we met before?" he seriously asked, which seemed to have disappointed her even more.

She bitterly smiled. "I cannot stay here any longer. My safety is at risk." She moved her head closer to Lay's ear, which immediately gave goosebumps to the naive man. "You looked handsome," she whispered, which made him gulp his own saliva and blush. Not only that, she kissed his cheek again.

Quinna stands already. "We will see each other again soon. You have to pay for forgetting me," she said, but it seemed like Lay wasn't able to absorb it because what's currently in his mind now is the feeling of her soft lips and sweet compliment, which seemed to have tingled his heart like he never felt before, not even to Cheska.

As soon as he heard her footsteps walking away, he immediately let go of a deep breath. "Damn!" He whispered.

He couldn't understand why he seemed to be enchanted and just couldn't act normally when she was around. He tried to think about when he met or knew her, but he just couldn't remember anything.

He shook his head, trying to erase the girl from her mind, but he just couldn't. Her unparalleled beauty, her soft voice, the way she moved gracefully—it just won't get away from his mind.

"Who the hell is she?" He mumbles, not realizing that Fiona was already sitting beside her.

"Who do you mean?" Fiona asked.

Lay was a bit shocked and glanced at her. "Nothing!" He said, and he immediately changed the topic. "Where did you go?"

"To the kitchen. I get the strawberry cake I baked lately. Your favorite." She handed over the dessert plate with a triangular slice of cake to him.

"Thank you!" Lay said, taking the cake. He started to eat, and Fiona was very happy that he didn't refuse the food anymore. He even finished eating in just a short time.

"I'll get you more." Fiona immediately took the plate from him and rushed to the kitchen happily.

Lay didn't say no or stop her either. Within three days, it's only now that he has an appetite to eat.

He doesn't want Fiona to serve him like this too, running to the kitchen back and forth just to serve him, especially when other people might notice. He wanted to eat privately too, so he immediately followed Fiona.

"Do you need anything?" Fiona asked when Lay arrived in the kitchen while she was slicing the cake.

"Let's eat together," he said while sitting down.

Fiona couldn't be more happy to hear it. She quickly grabbed a plate and cutlery for them both. There are other foods and drinks on the table for guests, which the servants will serve outside if necessary.

The two had already started to eat when May, the nanny, came inside the kitchen. "Oh!?" She acted as if she was very shocked to see the two eating. "You finally have an appetite to eat. Well, you shouldn't have anyway, not ever, because these foods were for the guests and not for you."

Seeing how rude the nanny was and that she totally didn't want Lay to lose his appetite again before they could finish eating, Fiona just suddenly got angry.

She let her spoon fall on her plate, which caused a loud chink, and glared at the nanny, "Who the hell are you? A petty nanny?" She acted as if she spit in disgust with her, "For your f***cking information, Lay was the one who paid for this food and for everything else. Also, he's the one and only true son of Mr. Leo, the heir who will own this house soon. How dare you treat him like this?"
