Lay and Andy decided to rent a cab because they have a lot of things to carry. It was a sunny morning, about 9 o'clock, when they arrived at their new home in the city of ***.
"Bro, why is the gate unlocked?" Andy asked curiously while checking the padlock on the gate. "Didn't we lock it before we left with Quinna yesterday?"
"You're the one who locked it anyway," Lay answered.
Yeah, and I'm sure that I locked it." He even scratched his nape, wondering why.
"How many times have you left my apartment open and said you locked it anyway? Huh?" Lay seriously said, which made Andy faintly laugh and amuse himself. He had already opened the gate so that they could take their things inside.
After a few moments, Lay was done arranging everything in his room and putting his clothes in a large closet that couldn't even fill half of it.
"Moving into a new place is really tiring!" He breathed deeply and decided to take a bath already.
He took the white towel from the bed, which he had meant to leave there recently. He entered the bathroom and was about to take off his undershirt when he noticed a female garment in the humper.
"What the f***ck!" He quickly turned around when he saw the woman's head in the bathtub. It was Quinna who seemed to have fallen asleep.
Lay quickly and get out of the bathroom immediately. The sweat was dripping from his temples as he gulped. Even though he saw nothing because her body was under the water mixed with bathing milk, something wild was on his mind.
Who's the man who wouldn't fantasize about seeing the n****d curvy body of a goddess like Quinna anyway?
"Damn!" Lay flicked his own forehead to stop himself from thinking about Quinna, but he just couldn't erase her from his mind. Her seductive almond-blue eyes, her perfect nose, and her soft, kissable pinkish lips touched his cheeks twice already.
He sat down on the bed and let out a deep breath through his mouth. "What is this girl doing here?" He's asking in his mind. Later on, Lay decided to just leave the room before doing anything else.
"Didn't you turn on the air conditioning in your room?" Andy asked upon seeing Lay was full of sweat.
However, Lay didn't answer it but took off his shirt and threw it at the sofa. "I'm already hungry. I'll cook for breakfast first before taking a bath!"
"Thanks for your service, boss." Andy chuckles while Lay has already gone to the kitchen.
He cooked homemade spicy noodles, a sunny side up egg, and a sandwich with egg and bacon. While making the sandwich, he paused a bit to think if he would make one for Quinna too. Finally, he sighed and made five sandwiches in total to make it less obvious that he had made an extra one.
After he was done, he eventually served everything on the table with very neat placement and plating.
"Andy, breakfast time!" He called, and then sat down to wait for his friend. It was already about 10 in the morning.
Not too long after Andy came inside the kitchen, he seemed to be happily talking with Quinna, who is now wearing a denim short, which is nearly visible because of the white oversized shirt that reaches half of her thighs.
Lay gulped upon seeing her slender, long legs. Before his mind would be out of control again, he immediately shifted his gaze towards her face.
"Hi, Luche!" She sweetly said, and it was followed by a sweet smile on her cheeks. Then her eyes fell on his naked chest.
Lay just realized that he has been taking off his shirt lately and putting it on the sofa because of the heat. He immediately stood up and said, "I'll just get my shirt."
"It's okay anyway. I like seeing you with six pockets!" Quinna said and chuckled, but Lay acted like he didn't hear and just got out of the kitchen hurriedly. Instead of just getting his shirt, he went directly to his room and took a bath.

"Did you bring the papers already?" Lay seriously asked upon entering the kitchen. Only Quinna was there, who had just finished making a sandwich.
"Sorry, I and Andy have eaten everything that you prepared lately; that's why I just made another sandwich for you," Quinna said, putting the serving plate in front of him.
Lay could smell the sweet vanilla scent from her as she stood right next to him, and he secretly loved sniffing it.
"Why are you here and acting like you're feeling at home?" He seriously asked, but he's looking at the sandwich in front of him instead of Quinna.
"Are you talking to the sandwich?" Quinna sniggered. "It won't answer you!"
"You!" Lay turned around and pointed his index finger to her face, but by then, the girl was laughing, which made her look even more beautiful. He was starstruck for a moment, but he immediately recovered too.
"Can you just answer me seriously? Just give me the documents and leave here. There are two men in this house and you're even wearing such..." He glanced at her legs and angrily looked at her face again. "Just give me the documents and leave."
"You even saw me in the bathroom!" She mumbles, but Lay didn't hear it clearly.
"I will stay here for a week." She immediately turned around and walked away.
"What!?" Lay shouted, unable to believe and understand the way Quinna acts. What the hell does she want? She's not even asking him permission to stay in his house.
"You look ugly when you're angry!" The girl shouted back and continued leaving the kitchen.
Lay couldn't help but faintly laugh. He doesn't know, but there's a little part of him that's happy to know that she wanted to stay in his house.
He looked at the egg and ham sandwich that the girl had made for him. It seemed to have been made carefully and even had a little sprinkle of pepper, which is his favorite.
Did she know that Lay loves eating everything with pepper and that if it's allowed to put a pepper on a coffee, he would do it too? Lay is wondering, until he doesn't notice that he's already biting the sandwich.
It tastes so good, like it's full of love. He remembered his father again, but it only made him smile.
"Every time you cook or bake, every time you serve food, do it with love. It would surely taste different!" The voice of his father echoed in his ears.
Before taking the last bite, he smiled. He doesn't know why, but he felt like it was the most delicious food he had ever eaten. After eating, he can still feel the little spice of pepper on his tongue, and he just loves it.
"You're so silly. Why did you put pepper on my ice cream?" came an angry voice from a little girl with a blurry image in her thoughts.
Here we go again; he remembers that girl again but doesn't know who she was. Sometimes, he just thinks that it was Fiona because they've been together since they were kids anyway.
"I just want to experiment. Everything is better with a little spice. Taste it!" Lay answered, and he couldn't help but chuckle as he remembered the kid version of him.
"Ouch!" Lay's heart seemed to have jumped when something hit his nape.
