After the leader said that all the other's including Arman followed him inside the door.
Stepping inside the gate what awaited Arman on the other side was a massive underground city like structure.
Just after passing through the door Arman and the others came to an open space which was almost completely empty expect for some guards that would patrol there from time to time.
From the top part of the cave many digital light sources could be seen which worked to illuminate the whole place.
Metallic pillars of various shapes and sizes were seen joining the ground of the cave to its ceiling providing stability to the entire structure.
Some distance away from this place a 100 meters tall metallic wall was seen standing with various guards stationed on it.
"Hey newbie what are you standing there for hurry up, don't you want to see your new home" said one of the people.
"What are you yelling at him for weren't you the same when you first came here" joked another person.
"Why did you have to say this Infront of the newbie" said the person while glaring at the other person.
"Humph, then why did you act so high and mighty" said the person.
"I wasn't acting high i was just reminding the newbie not to waste too much time" refuted the other person.
"As if you are busy, mind you that you are not even married yet so what do you need so much time for" argued the other person.
"That's enough you guys what will our new member think of us" said Helmond.
After the captains word the two of them immediately shut their mouths but from their expressions we could see that they were gonna start arguing as soon as the captain goes away.
"And newbie you do you want to continue observing for a while or shall we go towards the city" asked Helmond.
"No, lets go the city" said Arman.
Hearing Arman's reply the team started walking towards the wall.
After some time the team reached the periphery of the wall and immediately after they arrived the guards at the wall came down to inspect them and confirm their identifications.
After what seemed like a routine check the guards at the wall communicated with each other and opened the gate leading to the inside of the city.
The team after greeting the guards went inside the gate entering the interior of the city.
After passing through the gate what came into view was a long lake which seemed to surround the whole city and on the other side of the lake simple but modern houses and farmlands could be seen where people could be seen frequently doing some tasks or work.
Looking further inside the city a large building compared to the other buildings inside the city could be seen towards the middle of the city which was connected to the ceiling of the cave.
A long bridge could be seen connecting one side of the lake to the other side.
"Welcome newbie, this is gonna be your new home from today onwards" said Helmond.
"Not bad, isn't it" said light.
"Indeed, considering the situation of the world this place feels pretty nice" replied Arman.
"So, what do you think of this place Shura" asked Helmond.
Hearing Helmond's question Arman replied "This place feels pretty good and peaceful considering the situation that we are currently facing".
"As one of the strongest strongholds of humanity it should be atleast this much, don't you agree" said Helmond.
" I suppose so" replied Arman.
" Although the life here is pretty good but many people here still hope to one day again be able to live on the ground like they once used to and as the hunting squad it is our duty to do whatever it takes to make that wish a reality" said Helmond.
"Ok then lets go get you a resident identity and show you yours new living place" after saying which Helmond led the others towards the city through the bridge.
Moving towards the city many patches of farmlands and fields could be seen where people were seen working continuously.
"This is the food production area of the city, where many people whether old or young work tirelessly in order to produce food for the while city. Even though they don't fight the zombies but they are equally as important to the city as those who fight the zombies" explained Helmond.
After passing through the farmland the team arrived at the housing area where different houses were built and people could be seen coming in and out of the houses.
"This is the place where most of the people stay and rest" said Helmond.
After passing by the houses the team arrived near an industrial zone where various factories could be seen.
"Here the various factories are located for material processing and such stuff" explained Helmond.
After the industrial area came a busy marketplace where various shops could be seen and the influx of people here could be said to be the mist among all the previous areas.
"This is the city's marketplace, whatever you like you can buy here with the condition that it is available" said Helmond.
Finally after passing through all these areas the team came towards the large building in the middle of the city where many people could be seen working.
"This the central control center of the whole city. Here everything about the city is recorded such as the residents information, the materials available, etc and new people are also bought here to register to get their resident identities and their specific jobs are also assigned at this place. All together you can think of this place as the main part of the whole city. Everything in this city is controlled through here." explained Helmond.
"So now lets make you a resident of this place, shall we" said Helmond.
"Looking forward to it" replied Arman.
After saying Arman and the team walked towards the main building.
