While he was busy preparing dinner, Adam was surprised by the arrival of Damon carrying someone on his shoulder.
"Damon! Who is she!"
Damon laid the body of the girl whose name he didn't know down on a flat rock in the cave. "I don't know," Damon replied simply.
Adam quickly put down the rabbit he was going to cook, then approached the person Damon was carrying. When the distance between Adam and the girl was gone, Adam covered his mouth in disbelief.
"Human!" Adam said more surprised.
"Yeah, just like mom." Damon moved closer to the wall of the cave, then opened his cloak and hung the bloodstained cloak on a rock there.
Adam couldn't believe it, after all this time he was seeing humans again. "But, how come?" Adam touched the girl's bound feet, there seemed to be a wound there "What did you do to her?" he asked Damon.
Damon's shoulders wrinkled at Adam's question. "Nothing, the wound was there from the start." Damon also approached Adam who still seemed to be watching Anna.
"The wound must be treated immediately, human healing takes longer than ours." Adam got up, then looked at something from a box, some plants to treat wounds.
In the past, Era often taught Adam about medicinal plants, how to process them. Adam understood more or less about medicine, and that was all Era had left him.
Painstakingly, Adam began to pound the medicine until it crumbled. Adam unwound the cloth on her calf, then applied the medicine evenly to Anna's wound, not forgetting to clean the girl's face which was dirty with dirt and blood.
"Thankfully, the wound isn't bad." Adam took a blanket and covered Anna's body with it. The girl was only wearing thigh-length shorts and a shirt that had been torn at the bottom, she must have been cold.
"But who is she? How did a human get here?" Adam wondered, the appearance of the girl reminded him of Diana. It was almost the same thing.
"We'll know once she wakes up." Damon moved away and sat on the floor of the cave, his back against the wall as he closed his eyes.
Adam's gaze shifted to look at Damon and then back at the girl, there was one thought in Adam's brain. "Damon, do you smell something on that girl?" asked Adam.
Damon's eyes opened. "Yeah, human odor," he replied.
"No, I mean something else. Like a nice smell or something." Adam was sure there was something that allowed the human girl to be in his world.
Damon shook his head. "There's no such thing." Well, Damon did not smell anything on the girl. Just a human odor.
Wonder, Adam wondered. Then what brings the girl here? "Alright, I'll get back to cooking then." I don't know, hopefully her coming here was a good sign. Adam prayed silently.

Like the previous silent nights, Damon didn't do much. Sitting on a boulder, he looked up at the star-filled sky, on the east side of which the moon hung. It shone brightly.
Damon pondered, if given one wish Damon did not want to be the child in the prophecy. He just wanted to be an ordinary werewolf and live happily with his parents.
If only he wasn't a child of prophecy, he would be with his mom and dad right now, enjoying their time together. Instead of staring at the moon alone from this mountain.
"I miss you guys," Damon said. Without realizing that his eyes were hot, he quickly wiped his eyes. There were no tears there.
"I miss them too." Someone from behind came and tapped Damon on the shoulder, without even turning his head Damon knew who it was.
"Adam."
The man took a position beside Damon, he followed the direction of Damon's gaze. The moon. "Damon, you know what? You were born with the love of your parents."
Damon listened.
"They knew that the child of prophecy would be born, even before they got married. They accepted their destiny as the parents of a prophecy child, I hope you do too."
Damon did not answer, he looked pensive.
Adam knew Damon was always beating himself up, sometimes Damon blamed fate. "If being a child of prophecy makes me lose them, then I will choose to be a normal person."
When Damon was eight years old, everything happened suddenly. All dead, little Damon saw for himself how his father fought desperately to protect him and his mother. Before Dedrick finally had Adam secure Damon, taking him away.
Their castle was set on fire, Damon still remembers the magnitude of the blaze. Damon who was in Adam's arms could only watch with crying gray eyes that slowly turned red.
There was nothing else Adam could say, he just rubbed Damon's shoulder. This wasn't easy for Adam either. "Go to sleep, it's late." Adam got up from there and went into the cave.
Damon was alone again.

"Ummhh ...." In her sleep Anna whimpered, she felt the pain in her leg.
Anna's eyes slowly opened, she blinked her eyes a few times. "What... Where is this?" Her nets scanned around, it was like she was in a cave.
There was only a little light from a torch on the wall, a torch that looked almost extinguished.
Anna tried to sit up, she realized that there was a blanket covering her. Who gave her this? Anna wondered.
Suddenly Anna wanted the horrible events of this afternoon, oh my god was she being kidnapped?
"Oh, are you awake?" A man entered, his age seemed far from Anna's. Immediately Anna put up a vigilant attitude, from his face it wasn't the monster man from earlier. But still, Anna couldn't let her guard down.
Adam just smiled and handed her a cup of water. "Drink up, you must be thirsty."
Anna looked at the cup doubtfully.
"There's no poison in it if that's what you're thinking, just plain water." As if he knew what she was thinking, Adam said so.
Anna did feel thirsty, her throat dry. Finally Anna decided to take the cup and swallow the water. True, there was nothing strange.
Anna returned the empty cup to Adam, Adam accepted it. "Just a moment, I'll call the man who saved you," after saying that, Adam left Anna in this dimly lit room.
Anna wondered, if it wasn't that man who saved her, then who? She didn't know.
"Sshh." Anna pulled back the blanket covering her, examining the wound on her leg. It turned out that the wound was covered with something green, Anna didn't know what it was, but Anna guessed it was medicine.
"Well, this is the person who helped you!"
Immediately Anna raised her head and saw who was coming, for a moment Anna found it hard to breathe.
The man was looking at her.
