The pair of eyes met, Damon could see that the girl was very surprised to see him. Damon took a step to cut his distance from the girl.
"What's your name?" asked Damon matter-of-factly.
Anna was surprised, the man in front of her was the same man she met in the forest. That's right, Anna was sure because those red eyes she couldn't forget. Even so, the man's appearance now seemed more humanized, no claws, and no fangs.
"My-my name, Anna. Anna Cattegirn Fernandez."
"Well, that's a good name. I'm Adam, and that young man is Damon." Adam barged in between Anna and Damon, not forgetting the friendly smile he flashed so Anna wouldn't feel intimidated.
"Y-yeah. But you're ...." Anna didn't continue, she looked at Damon hesitantly. Anna held her head, was she hallucinating? Anna began to doubt her sanity.
"Oh, you mean this?" Damon took out his claws, showing them right in front of Anna. It successfully made Anna's eyes widen and recoil in fear.
Adam tapped his forehead. "Oh my God! Damon don't scare her!" Adam pushed Damon away from Anna. Damon really does look like Dedrick, Adam complained to himself.
Now Anna was sure she wasn't hallucinating, she'd really experienced that horrible scene in the forest. Anna clutched the blanket that had been covering her, what should she do now?
"Don't be afraid!" Adam coaxed Diana. "He won't hurt you," Adam continued.
Anna shook her head.
"Trust me, I'll make sure of it." Adam approached Anna and sat on the side of the rock. "Look, he's going to stay there."
Adam instructed Damon to remain silent, Damon grunted but he followed Adam's request.
"Well, now you can tell me how you got here."
Seeing how Adam treated her, Anna felt a little safe. To be honest Anna was still afraid of Damon even though he hadn't hurt her from the start.
"I was in a car accident, then I was thrown into the river. I don't remember anything anymore. Is there any way you can help me get back to the accident scene? My mom is still there." Anna had hope in Adam, she hoped he could help her.
Adam sighed, it seemed that humans who came here had always experienced tragedy in the previous world. Adam shook his head slowly. "I can't Anna, you're away from your world."
"Meaning?"
Adam looked at Damon, then at Anna again.
"It's a long story, but I'll tell it."

Morning had come but Anna couldn't sleep well, she only slept for a short while and when she woke up it was already morning. Eye bags were clearly visible on her face, not to mention her bruised cheeks from yesterday's fall. Anna's face looked miserable.
"How could this happen to me?" Anna tightened the blanket that was wrapped around her.
After hearing Adam's absurd story, Anna couldn't help but believe it. Especially when the man named Damon proved it himself. Well, there was already enough evidence when Anna first met Damon.
Now that she was in a strange world, Anna didn't know what to do.
Anna got out of bed while wrapping the blanket around her shoulders, then stepped her feet intending to see the conditions outside. No, Anna didn't intend to run away because Anna remembered Adam's message from last night.
"It's a good thing you met us, if you had met someone else you might not have survived."
Anna looked around, this place was a cave. Anna had realized it from the beginning because the rocks looked so clear, plus some bats seemed to hang in the corner of this cave.
"You're awake."
A hoarse voice from behind startled her, Anna turned around and found Damon who had also just woken up from his sleep. His hair looked disheveled, he wore no top only black pants that covered his ankles.
"Uh? Yes. Hehe." Anna forced a laugh, but it looked strange.
Damon folded his arms across his chest as he stared at Anna. "Don't be so clumsy, I have no intention of eating you."
Anna gave Damon an annoyed look. "Don't be like that! You're scaring me!"
"Yeah, yeah. Suit yourself."
Damon stepped away from Anna, Anna who didn't know what to do could only accompany Damon from behind.
Damon knew Anna was following him, but he didn't resist or push her away. Let it be, he felt a little sorry for the girl anyway.
As the two pairs of feet arrived at the cave entrance, the wind immediately hit Anna's face.
"Wahh ...." Anna's pupils dilated when she realized how beautiful the view was from up here. "Are we on a mountain?" Anna asked Damon who was sitting on a rock.
"Hm," Damon replied. he closed his eyes, enjoying the morning sun hitting his body.
It turned out that this cave was on the slope of a mountain, from up here Anna could see the green expanse of the forest.
Anna narrowed her eyes, something that looked far away caught her attention. "Is there an ocean?" Anna asked again.
Damon opened his eyes. "Yes, the ocean. But we can't go there."
"Why?"
"Because it's dangerous territory."
Anna nodded, yes there are many dangers here. Anna understood that. "Um, Damon. Adam said your mom was human too, how did she get here?" Actually last night Adam didn't tell her everything, just an outline of this world.
Damon turned his back on Anna. "I'm not interested in discussing my family with strangers." After saying that, Damon went into the cave.
Ah, right. Looks like Anna had overreacted. "Oh right, I'm sorry." Anna sighed.
"Damon is like that, but he's a good person."
Anna turned around, Adam was there. The middle-aged man approached Anna. "Damon used to be a cheerful boy, but the death of his parents changed him. He's a little sensitive about family."
Anna nodded, yes. She knew the feeling, she lost her father too.
"His mother, Diana was my first love."
Anna suddenly turned to Adam. "Your first love?" Anna asked.
Adam laughed. "Yes, something like that. Diana was a kind and cheerful person. However, that was just in the past I ended up marrying the girl I really loved. I can't take my Alpha's woman anyway."
Adam looked up at the sky, remembering the days of his youth. So much fun.
"There's a reason why Diana came here in the first place, and I'm also sure there's some reason for you to suddenly enter this world." Adam turned his head to look at Anna.
"I'm going out." Suddenly Damon came out of the cave fully clothed, including the cloak attached to his body.
"Where are you going?"
The question just came out of Anna's mouth, and a moment later Anna realized she knew Damon too well.
"Hunting, do you want to come?"
