"Quiet" the head maid interrupted their conversation. Not wanting to get punished they both kept quiet but the other maid was still wallowing in fear whenever she thinks of what the maid told her.
" The fifth Archon of Asgard, Archon Charis Priestley is back" the eunuch relayed the message.
Murmurings were soon heard from the background.
"Silence" the head maid cautioned, the conversation were mostly coming from the maids line. When the Archon got to the Royal palace he jumped down from his horse back and walked towards the Royal conference room, the rest of the polemistís already reported to the barracks. Wherever he passes the guard's on duty bowed, when he finally got to the conference room all the guard's and maids present bowed down with their heads pointing downwards.
"Welcome back Your Majesty" they all said in unison. The pressure emitted by the Archon was so strong that it was suffocating.
Mia was still curious about the Archon's eye color and decided to see for herself so she mustered courage and raised her head, she regretted it because the moment she raised her head she met the Archon's eyes and truth be told it was scary and dreadful. He didn't have the usual blood red eyes that the Royals usually had but.....
While she was reminiscing she didn't hear when the Archon called her, it was only when a maid beside her nudged her did she regained herself and that was when she heard the Archon's furious growl.
"How dare you?!!" Archon Charis repeated
"Forgive me my Lord it was a mistake" she said with a shaky voice. She regretted ever looking up, curiosity got the cat and she had to pay for it.
" Take her to the dungeon" Charis said to one of the guard.
"Yes my Lord" the guard replied and stood up to drag her. He felt pity for her and guessed she was a new maid and didn't get full introduction on the do's and don't of the palace rules.
" My Lord forgive me" Mia begged for forgiveness but after she said that there was a pin drop silence, no one spoke, no word was heard and Mia knew she was done for. It was over there is no hope, she thought of her parents and siblings."Am sorry Mom and Dad I failed you" that was what she thought until she heard a young but cold voice.
"I will take her" she tried to see where the voice was coming from but stopped herself at the last minute.
Princep Dion who saw everything decided to intervene but the Basilea advised him to not to.
" Do you want to go against your father because of a maid" the Basilea advised him.
" It's not worth it!! think carefully"
" Mom I got this" he reassured her
" Your highness" he greeted his father with one hand on his chest while bowing.
The blaring fire in Charis Priestley eyes calmed down but did not completely disappear still he signaled the guard to take her.
