Teach would continue his assault. having him punch the very air to make the Card Magician let go, right at the direction where the explosion would be presented thanks to the cannons, firing a shot and risking an explosion to damage the both of them. Harvard would recognize this risk and was almost shocked at how reckless this plan was, forcing him to use a spell to get off, cutting the very distance and have him warp to a different spot, escaping harm's way. "ARE YOU CRAZY!? You could've hurt yourself there!" The boy stated, to which the Pirate let out a guttural laugh, despite the boy's point proven clear as a minor wound was made on Teach's body.
"And!? T'at there's the life of a Pirate! If we aren't beaten black and blue, we aren't doin' it right! That's the thrill of being a voyager of the seas! The very idea that Death can come for yah, and the idea you'll shoot him right as he tries to drag you to hell!!" His laugh grew louder, almost like a roar, as he got within a stance again. "Now C'mon, Boy! I told yah that you ain' holding back here! Just try and reach my level!!" The booming voice, coupled with his very expression of joy was almost scaring the child even more. This wasn't an ordinary person at all. This was someone who goes through thrills unparallel. A Man unafraid of anything. Shaking his nerves off, Harvard would try to attack back, card in hand to cast an elemental spell: Lightning. Teach would simply shrug them off by using his cannons to launch him up in the air, evading the spell before it even had a chance to land, however, Harvard would be prepared for it. A Second card was hidden atop of his first, chains being sent directly towards Teach's weapons of choice, wrapping around its barrel and blocking off the chamber that would've launched the cannonballs, before casting Lightning once more, traversing it across the chains. The only way to escape it would be to blow up the chains, but there would be no way that Teach would do such an action, Right? That was Harvard's thought process as the conduction made its way across, and yet...
BOOOOM!!
An explosion. Harvard's eyes widen in fear at the sheer uncaring attitude towards his very life. Amidst the big smog of smoke that coated the top of the ship, another cannon shot was fired. "HE'S ALIVE STILL!?" Harvard would ask himself, his answer being received as Teach came down, trying to launch himself directly atop of the child, blowing up the flooring and exposing the other two fighters from within, the bright sun staring down at the scene playing out. Harvard would be forced to cast the spell again to cut the distance and escape from the impact, fully realizing that, at any moment, he would absolutely get killed. Once again, as the dust settled, Teach let out a hearty laugh, his body somewhat wounded, but most importantly, the right cannon being absolutely destroyed. A Sigh of relief came from the child. "Ok! Good! One down! Just need to take out the other and then-.."
KRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRCK
"....You've got to be kidding me." The Metallic screeching was made as the destroyed cannon began to repair itself, the steel bending itself and removing any signs of damage, almost as if it was alive. Teach would begin to speak once more.
"Steel Magic, Boy! You really think I'd have these weapons and expect to replace 'em every time!?" Teach would prepare his cannons once more, having Harvard prematurely set up a spell, realizing the strategy that the captain is employing. A Strategy that Harvard would be very well acquainted with in regards to the monster in the Forest: Rushing headfirst and not providing a chance to set up. A Smirk however, was made on the child's face, gaining the attention from Teach himself. "He's smilin'. That boy is smilin'. He has somethin' prepared. I think I'm starting to get what he's like then..." He'd think to himself. "...He's not a tradition'l fighter, now is he? He's one that tries to attack back through manipulation and whatnot. To control the stage itself so he can do his lil' tricks on me. Never would have expected to meet somethin' like that in a long time. Let's see what tricks he's gonn' pull on me." He'd charge in headfirst, his cannons at the ready, with the Steel Magic increasing the size of the balls and, by extension, their strength. He was able to use the planks to launch himself forward, his arm reaching and throwing as if he was dealing a straight left strike, watching the child's eyes. Something to notice was that they were being a golden color.
Something was wrong.
BANG!!!
The attack connected. The Explosion was made. A Second hole was formed. Amidst the Debris, Teach could see his very opponent scattering into nothing but red mist. He'd get himself up, looking at the mess of red that flew across the sky, and gave his respect for the small child.
Something was wrong.
He could hear the cheers coming from his side. His crewmembers, watching the fight in action, cheering the man's name. "Teach! Teach! Teach! Teach!" They'd cry. The Captain simply raises his arm, cannon strapped on its side, mighty and proud, as he achieved such a victory. It was odd however that his crewmembers were able to notice it despite being downed and sent to the water. It was just as odd when he noticed they weren't even wet to begin with. Was his mind playing tricks with him in this instance? He'd look up to the sky to see if any weather phenomena has changed, or at least if the sun was shining harsh enough to make him feel a bit woozy. At that instance, he noticed something at the sky. An Eye, golden, staring down at Teach.
BAM!!
A strike right at the captain's face, without any hesitation.
