"IT WORKED! IT ACTUALLY WORKED!!" The Joy was palpable as the child lunged his attack straight towards Teach's face, hurling him across the ship and having him crash straight into his very quarters, the wood stabbing into his body, while Teach would struggle to get up.
"So that's what that blasted child did....He set up a trap for me when I was chargin' in. Made my mind see what I want to see. Hittin' all me senses and everything to create an trick....Meanin'..." He'd whisper to himself, getting up from the wreckage, realizing the situation. He didn't even do a single attack on the child. The moment they looked at each other's eyes, Harvard simply moved out of the way and let the Captain assume he killed him with such a hefty blow. The captain couldn't help but smile at this. "Clever kid....He used my own mind against me. He used my own perception as a weap'n, just to hit me on the fallback...Knew he was trying to play a trick on me..." The illusion was quickly broken, allowing Teach to properly see once more, getting up and brushing off the debris around his body. "To think this lil' brat actually got the best of me.....I might actually have to get a bit serious here if he keeps that up." Within that moment, he'd prepare himself.
The Cannonballs began to warp itself, its shape rippling, as energy is being poured out. Harvard would take notice of this and get into a stance, knowing what is coming. Without warning, Something would come out of the cannons. The very metal that was once the balls elongated themselves, a bladed edge for each side. Swords. Harvard would react by casting two cards once more, this time creating more arms out of the very planks, having them reach upward, forcing Teach to scale up them like stairs, having the remaining steel be leaked down from his body towards his prosthetics, enhancing them with the shining metal, letting it spread wide for easier climbing, as well as having expert traversal with the awkward surroundings. Harvard anticipated this, as the second spell would come into effect, where Teach would feel the steel being tangled. Looking down, he'd see what looked to be webbing out of solid energy, with Harvard holding one of the arms and taking in the energy that is making the swords themselves. With such a realization, he'd make his move, aiming the sword-like cannon balls directly to Harvard's location, and firing.
BOOOM!!!
Heavy strikes being made, which, while weakening the impact, still held the force necessary to cut down the wood, cutting the webbing, and rapidly closing in on Harvard's location. He'd quickly backstep away to evade, before having his own body being caught. When he looks down at the attack, he'd see something extra that Teach has added: Chains. Chains which are tethered towards the projectiles, angled in a way to wrap around the boy's lower body, and send him hurling down into the ocean, piercing through the ship and anchoring the child deep down into the river, with the ship now starting to sink. "Lets see if you have a spell for this, eh, Lil' Runt!?" Teach would state in a cocky manor, disconnecting the chains so as to not be dragged down with him, while also having himself atop of the ship's bowsprit. He'd have the Cannons set up another set of balls to turn into blades once more, letting the steel mold itself within the ship, watching it sink downwards, while also looking down to see the child struggle.
Harvard was running low on options. There wasn't a clear direction to go. The chains were too heavy and tangled his body in such a way that he cannot react without trying to get out of the binds first. Moreover, the ship itself was sinking, meaning if he doesn't get out in time, he would be crushed underneath its weight. Harvard remained calm and evaluated his decisions. Recognizing that his movement is limited, meaning he himself cannot move, as well as understanding the weight of the ship itself, he'd come to terms with a single idea. putting three cards at risk by casting them while underwater, he'd come up with an idea: Spawning arms and doubling the amount through a spell that copies his previous card, a set of 4 arms was made.
Meanwhile, Teach would keep his eye out, noticing the arms, and watching them grab ahold of the ships side. "HAH! Don't try it, lad! You ain' liftin' this magnificent boat! Not while I's got sights on yah!" He'd take aim and fired once more, striking the arms, impaling them, and pinning them upon the river's bottom. When he goes to reload his cannons, however, he'd notice that the boy hasn't changed his expression. He wasn't wavered, nor was he faltered. An eyebrow was raised from the captain, before experiencing the reason why. From such a wound, without mercy, More appendages grew almost instantly, as if they were sprouting like a seed to take its spot, or a Hydra to repair one of their nine heads. More arms were made to replace it, and more lift was created, picking the boat up and launching it upwards. With the height made, the chains would end up pulling the child upwards, granting him breath once more, and a message he wishes to give.
"YOU WANNA BET, BLACK BEARD!?!" He coughed out the excess water, before casting the spell again, only this time, it was made upon the palms of the hands that lifted the ship up, doing its barrage of straight punches, hooks, and uppercuts, to make enough force to send it skywards, as well as having a separate arm made to rip the chains off of Harvard and let Harvard hold on tight.
BOOOOM!!
An explosion, one made right at the flooring of the boat, with the force to rocket them higher and higher, with the ship soaring to the skies and almost touching the clouds, flinging the boy through usage of the chain, and allowing him to cast his own chains to grapple Blackbeard and send himself downward for a high jump kick, right to his face. The impact would cause blood to be spilt, as well as stumbling right into the hole itself. "Stolas, you absolute GENIUS!" Harvard declared, laughing happily as he'd have gravity make him stuck on the ship. "What gave you the bright idea to make this thing fly!?"
His question most likely fell on deaf ears, yet it did not matter. Harvard was having just as much fun as Teach was. That is fine in his eyes.
