"FIRST! LAW!"
The daggers came in a strong wave, its movements consistent and quick, having the sound of metal serve as the impact, with a last-ditch effort in using the sigils made from Sabnock, acting itself as shields to block against the supposed jaws that closed itself upon Zazel. Jackal merely scoffed, having him take a few more knives and sending them directly towards the Demon. "I told you kid. You aren't being smart with this. I'm sorry for doing this, but I can't have folks expose me. Not after what I've done." Guilt was somewhat heard from his voice, the daggers being held tightly upon his hands, before steeling his nerves and sending a few knives directly towards the boy, attempting to go for lethal to the child's heart and head. The Demon was cornered, and if he were to break away for even a moment, the very set of jaws would close in on the child, killing him just the same. He was trapped, like a rat in a cage. He closed his eyes sharply as the knives came hurling towards him, bracing for impact.
SHIKK!!
Silence. Stunned. Stunted, even. The Demon was expecting to be harmed, yet nothing has came yet. He'd slowly opened his eyes, carefully making sure that he wasn't being faked out at Jackal's attack. His eyes grew wide in shock when he sees what's before him: Wood, stretched out to catch the very attack itself, the knives stabbed deep within its planks. What he also noticed was that branches were seen circulating all over the very jaws that would've sliced Zazel to ribbons. They were all caught within its entangled, brown arms. They were all caught by the wood from the very house. A few more seconds of searching, frantically looking around to see what was going on, would have him spot the very Ghost that haunted such a place, staring towards Jackal. He saved the Demon. For what purpose? For what reason? Whatever it was, he needed to thank him for living. He would disable the sigils and move himself away so that the knives wouldn't hurt him, seeing them tied down to reassure the boy that he was safe, at least for now.
"So.....Seems they were right. Much as I'd hate to admit it.....that stunt actually had some solid footing" Jackal had his daggers stand down, looking up towards the ghost. "Still...I'm not dealing with you, Step aside now."
Graves merely gazed towards Jackal, his knives brandished as they shine within the moonlight. He has no memories, but he still has Morality. he doesn't remember who this man is...yet he remembers of something simple. A Message that was carried to him even to his very death. The ghost simply floats down, half of his body positioned in a stance as it stared towards Jackal. His message was clear, and it's such a message that caused Jackal to have a disgusted look upon his face.
Jackal would sigh, as he'd realize what is going to happen. "Alright..." He'd begin, gripping his weapons strongly. "...Don't say I didn't warn you." Jackal would take initiative once more, launching his blades towards the house itself, amplified by his Gravity Magic to become as heavy as steel, allowing it to plow through solid wood and stone with the greatest of ease. Graves would counter it, having the wood nearby Jackal to strike back, sprouting itself as appendages, while having the house protecting Zazel to manipulate its steel pipes to ensnare the projectiles. While not enough to fully stop the knives, it was enough to halt its progress through such damages, and cause it to lose its effective sharpness, able to catch it within the very planks of the house. Jackal had to focus on the feint upon his left, having one of his daggers drop to the water, culminating into a large splash of water, which he then uses his magic upon such a splash to act as a wall, blocking the remnants of the home.
Jackal quickly took a different approach, Having the knives tossed across the muddy water and inflict such waves with his magic once more. With the position of such a wall, he'd slam the wall directly towards Graves and the house, attempting to wash it down. Graves merely evaded the attack by causing the building itself to jump, having it grow legs through the wood and launch itself upwards, with the ghost being immune to physical contact. It only hoped that Zazel was able to evade it just as much. What Graves didn't knew, however, was that Jackal would trail his very attack, using the waves as a Blockade as he got into a prime position to throw his knives upward, slicing off not only the legs of the building, but the lower regions as well, causing it to stumble and crash violently due to it losing such footing, with his movements matching his knives to prevent a reaction.
Jackal kept attacking, cutting through the waters more and more, sending walls and walls of said water to hurl directly towards Graves. Makeshift tsunami's are what resulted in such interactions, with visible inscriptions in the mud to showcase his source of magic. With this, Graves would try to go on the offensive, having the broken pieces of the house break off and violently shoot itself towards said inscriptions, piercing through the messages without restraint. When it connected, the waves merely collapsed in on itself, showcasing the ultimate crux within Jackal's magic. Unfortunately, Jackal planned ahead of time from such a trick, and had himself close the gap once more. Graves would try to launch an attack, but it was too late, as Jackal sliced through the planks of the house and leapt out of the way, the man smirking as he did so.
"Never thought someone like yourself would have this type of Magic, though considering who you were adopted by, I shouldn't be all that shocked. You folks always had a knack for it, buildin' these buildings without breaking a sweat..." He'd look around to notice the other buildings, realizing he may need to act quickly before the ghost has such an idea come into fruition. Thankfully, it doesn't seem that Graves knows about such an advantage he has now. He gets himself ready for a second spell, the water making ripples as it is inscribed messages. Graves would have the monstrous house to intercept, having it create arms from its sides and try to attack Jackal while he was open.
Unfortunately...
"Gravity Magic....THIRD LAW!!"
His magic was casted.
