"....Harvard...Harvard??...HARVAAAAAAAAAAAARD!! WAKE UP!"
His body would jolt upward as he felt a strong strike upon the boy's shoulder. He took notice of his surroundings to see what was going on: A strong, wooden roof, with the boy inside a room. A wooden room. A room with a soft, large bed, soup on the side on a desk, the clean windows showing still strong signs of rainfall, as well as his friend, Zazel. The boy made a heavy sigh as he realized what has happened. He was taken back in the Tavern, where they first got their missions. He could also see the Demon holding a piece of paper, showing said missions they did, with lines crossed out on the ones they accomplished already. "You were out like a LIGHT! No snoring, no bed shifting. For a moment, I seriously thought you flat out died!" The demon joked as he sat himself on the side of the bed, showing the Card Magician the list of missions they still need to do in Oaking, or at the very least, one of the last missions they needed to accomplish.
"Yeah well...Papa always said I was a heavy sleeper" Harvard joked back, before asking a question. "How were you able to find me?"
"Easy! After the big explosion you did out there, I simply went to the large wasteland with Asmodeus! He was...NOT happy, to say the least, in rescuing someone in the rain." Zazel laughed nervously at this statement, still recalling the amount of complaints the demon did when flying south.
"Fair enough, Hehe! I didn't think a lava dragon rider guy would enjoy being wet anyway...." Harvard also laughed nervously, though for separate reasons. Specifically due to him more than likely remembering and reminding himself being responsible for what happened last night. He's more than likely expecting the officials to chase after the boy and interrogate him for why he did such a large attack for no other reason than for flair, despite having no control over one of his own monsters. More than likely needing to leave Oaking if its severe enough. "So! What else are we missing? Shouldn't be that much, right?"
"Yeah, weird how you say that. There's just the spooky mansion left! Just need to drive out a few ghosts and we'll be good!" Zazel would showcase the paper to the child, as Harvard would try to get himself up.
"Perfect! Then we got no time to wa- Ah...Ahh...AH...AAAAH-CHOO!" A strong sneeze came from the child, as a result for staying in the heavy rain, causing him to use his elbow to prevent the spreading of any germs. Zazel would stay far away from his sneezing, passing the Card Magician a tissue to blow into. "Thanks..." The boy stated, as he would proceed to do just that.
"Yeaaaaaah, you may need to sit this one out."
"Heck no! You think a lil' sickness is gonna take me down?" The child had more confidence than what he could do, but Zazel quickly explained himself.
"No, but a bunch of scary people might! Plus, its not really smart to adventure while being sick. Could end up compromising lots of stuff, y'now?"
"I can heal myself just fine! And besides, its not like I'm a big monster to everyone in the King-" Zazel quickly proven Harvard's point wrong with showcasing the window, letting the boy see what looked to be a crowd of people screaming and hollering for the child to pay for damages. Harvard, wide-eyed, would be a bit more worried than usual. "Y'now.....fair point."
"Plus, I wanna see if I can do a mission myself, just like what you did. Its at least fair for the both of us, yeah?" Zazel was having his usual smirk, with Harvard sighing and agreeing with the Demon. It was indeed fair for him to have a mission by himself, though not without some help. He'd get his deck and search through 3 spells, having another spell multiply the 3, passing the copies directly towards Zazel. The spells in question were the likes of a shield-like barrier around a card, a cat-like creature seen mimicking a card, and the scythe-like weapon the child casted. It was at least one of these cards that Zazel knew all too well. If he was going out, he should at least have these as a "in-case" scenario where he would be boxed in a corner, with one of these spells at the very least acting as a defense spell from attacks. He'd store these 3 cards onto his jacket, looking towards the boy for any further information.
"From what I gathered, it looks like the House is on Mangrove Graves. It's buried underneath a bunch of the roots, so you MAY need to do some clearance before you get inside. I'll try to stay here and recover from this flu, alright?" The boy said, to which the Demon nodded. He'd make his way out as the child had himself some soup, although not before he'd sneeze once more, another tissue to cover and blow his nose to let him breathe, before drinking such soup, letting him savor its warm feeling, letting him rest in the Tavern without any worries, having faith that his friend can handle such problematic situations before him. Zazel, meanwhile would make his way eastward, seeing as that was where the manor resides in. There hasn't been much rumors in regards to the house, only that it was once home to a proud noble family that nearly reached the status of the Kings and Queens. Such attraction however, is what ended up befalling a great tragedy, with the family being killed off. Rumors spread it was from the father of the house that did such a tragedy, feeling betrayed by his own family and outing revenge on everyone before his life would be taken away, executed for his crimes.
Some say that house still lives today. Zazel, being inexperienced with the Human world, would see if that was certain.
