Laughter. Cackling. Sneering even...
A Shadow loomed over the boy's body. A Shadow he can recognize. It was easily recognizable by its glove-like hands, which were pierced to capture the Marrow's assault. The creature had its large smile, accompanied by its wide, cartoonish eyes. The Box where the body acts as its base planted down heavily, burying itself upon the ground. The Marrow, still leaking out such sap, would hear such cackling, realizing his attack was intercepted, not by the boy's tricks, but from a Monster. The boy, potion in tow to heal his eyes back, would have his sight regained and view that monster in full swing. It was his friend, one which livened up the very festival previously.
"Fleisher!"
The creature laughed manically as it attempted to reach out towards the rest of the body, the Marrow extending one of its arms to stab holes upon his hand. Fleisher, quick to react, curved its arms and wrapped around the Marrow's attack, the coils twisting like a snake to perfectly evade and grapple the Marrow by the neck, before it does a strong leap, dust and debris blasting away, having Harvard take cover as the monster did its job. The boy panted heavily, his body outputting so much during the fight itself. He would be forced to take a break by the trees, letting him regain his senses and his energy back at once. He'd allow Fleisher to handle the beast, buying time for preparations against the wood-like creature to properly defeat it. An hour or two should be more than enough.
As the boy regained himself, Fleisher would grab the Marrow hard and plummet directly into the earth, sound effects of a plane falling down being played as the drop occurred. The very land caving itself in as the impact occurred, a crater left behind its toon-like wake. The Marrow's body was broken at every piece and part of their skin, leaking further sap than usual. Taking that knowledge, it tried to throw such substances right at Fleisher's eyes, thinking it would be affected. What the creature didn't realize at first, was for such logic to be applied normally. The monster simply stared towards the Marrow, unaware at first of the sap. When it did, however, his eyes simply pulled out what looked to be windshield wipers to clean the sap away, a wide-eyed mess upon Fleisher's pupils, constricted in pure fury with a large scowl, as it would wind up both of their arms, his coils bound tightly for maximum acceleration. All the Marrow could do at this point was block with their nearly broken arms.
And yet even then, it wasn't enough. Barrages upon barrages of punches came flooding down towards the Marrow, Fleisher cackling like a madman as each punch would be struck, recoiled, then launched again without any signs of stopping. Such punches were going faster and faster than what the Marrow could see. Faster than what the Marrow could perceive. They were almost like silver streaks of light reflected from the moon's gleam as the onslaught continued, holes upon holes of its body being given the more it took in such a beating. One strong uppercut was enough to send the woodland creature flying skywards, before Fleisher himself bounced just as high, reaching upwards to the night sky. All the Marrow could see with its pupils was the cartoonish freak of nature physically reach directly into the sky, and grabbing what looked to be like a source of light. Such a source of light became larger and larger as it was hurled down, the Marrow's eyes widening as it would see what attack is coming for him.
A Newborn Star, hurling straight towards the Marrow, ready to incinerate nearly the entire forest region with its glow and heat. It instinctively raised its hands to stop the attack, but to no avail, for the heat was enough to burn the creature down into pure, black ash. It was forced to split apart into mere pieces, unable to react as the very star was sent hurling down, erupting in a primal explosion for all the world to see. The very shining, white light of a white dwarf, blasting a strong hole upon the land that was once the forest. It was a glorious sight to behold, and yet Fleisher was almost impressed that the world can handle such a large stellar object. It lowers itself down upon the wasteland that was once the forest, laughing wickedly as it enjoys itself amidst the destruction. Such a destruction was vast, almost extending to the horizon, and yet the most cruel of all...
It was one of the few monsters who decides to not restrain itself.
As the land was nothing short but dry grass and burnt air, Fleisher at least holds responsibility in regrowing the forest, reaching upwards to the sky once more and grapple the clouds, pulling them together, and wringing them like a tower to shower down heavy amounts of rain. Such rain, coupled with the impossible logic Fleisher had on itself, would allow the likes of saplings to grow near instantaneously. Unfortunately, it was also the monster's downfall, as its box would become grabbed and hoisted down, pinning the behemoth of a jack-in-the-box into the earth, the roots sinking into its interior. Despite the attack that ultimately erased nearly everything, The Marrow was still alive. It tries to go on the offense once more, trying to rip out the spring that connects Fleisher with its box, and attempts to kill it once and for all, before strong gusts of light came from the toy-like creature.
Energy. Energy that is being recalled straight back.
"I knew you'd buy enough time buddy. You can rest now....I'll finish him off." Was a voice. A voice recalling the monster back into its card, doused in water. His hair became droopy, his clothes soaked. It was the card Magician himself, Harvard Helsing. The boy had two cards on standby, one of which would act as the finale for the Marrow.
