Traveling down the road back to Oaking, Harvard would be humming a small tune to himself, the large metallic figure serving as transport while holding the dragon's nearly melted skull, gazing at it for its prize. Zazel was stunned beyond belief at what he had just seen. A mere human, nay, a child. who was no less being capable of destroying something as ruthless, as powerful, and as tricky as a full-fledged dragon, and with no effort whatsoever, apart from what seemed to be wounds upon the Card Magician's skin, burns across his arms and body to say the least. He's curious at the contents of what Harvard even held, and what else he can possibly use. So, whilst they have some time, Zazel would pose a question. "Heeeeeeey, So ah....Exactly what allowed you to do....well....THIS!?" He'd ask, gesturing towards Raphael as a whole, to which the Card Magician laughed.
"What? My friend? Its easy! I just used a seal, gathered lots of energy around me, and summoned him! Usually I'd try and take other people's energy so that I can pull it off, but it doesn't hurt to use my own once in a while. I just need to be careful with the rest of stuff I can cast!" Harvard explained himself, showcasing his other cards, mostly as a teaser towards Zazel, now knowing that this seemed to be the source of his magic. The demon recalled that such an artform of magic comes through conversion of energy, a process of taking one's energy and using it as something else. As the demon would take note of such cards, he would be somewhat stunned at the contents, as each card was in key detail to a certain spell, and each card also held a specific monster that the child can summon. Each card seemed to possess a name, as well as their abilities on the bottom: Construct, Dorado, Uru, Rasca, Osiris, and more. Furthermore, each spell also held a name, as well as its effects as a whole: Illusion, Arm Set, Mecha, Crystal Skull, Rosetta Stone, Etc.
Zazel became entranced with these cards, and knowing that these cards weren't even used during the fight against the dragon, the demon only thought on who gave them such cards, and where they even came from. "Wooooooow....You have..ALL this? You must be some super, duper, SUPER strong person then! This is like....a big catalogue of nearly every spell in this world! You can just flick your wrist with the card and spawn stuff like a tornado or a volcano at someone!" Zazel would state.
Harvard merely laughed at that notion. "Yeah. Right. As if I'm some strong person-"
"No, No, I mean it! How haven't you like, controlled the entire world with this yet?"
Harvard sighed at this question, giving Zazel a simple answer, returning the cards back among his suit, some even hiding from within his sleeves, acting as a way to easily access such a deck. "Well, Its just that. Magic! If I spent all my stuff in trying to conquer everything, I'd probably go unconscious before I even DO anything! Besides, Almost everyone I know can adapt to anything I throw at them. I gotta make sure to conserve my energy and plan on what to do next if I ever end up getting into a fight. I can't just spam the same spell over and over again, That's super boring! That, and it tires me out more than usual."
Zazel would be curious about that last bit. "So his cards are his own brand of magic. The more he uses the same spell, it seemed to be the more likely he'd wear himself down." he thought to himself. The comments regarding unconsciousness would most likely also apply to his own body powering this magic in the first place. He wondered if other humans like himself possessed a similar set of abilities like Harvard, though he leaves that knowledge to somewhere else for another time. He's content for now regarding this information, looking downwards towards the battered skull of the deceased dragon. "Say.." He'd began, a confident smirk on his face. "..You showed me your magic, yeah? Let me do the same thing as well! I wanna see if I can fight some big monsters so I can show you what I can do! We can even make it a challenge, flashiest one gets some snacks of their choosing, what do you say?"
Harvard simply smiled, a confident face being worn. "Alright. Bet! Lets see what's available in that tavern so that we can do YOUR cool stuff" He would proclaim, holding those words against Zazel accountable. He'd stare at the horizon, enjoying the view before him, and even allowing Zazel to do something similar to that. For now, they re-entered the kingdom, preparing themselves for the next task at hand, whatever said task may be.
