Jason mentally facepalmed. "Why did I start off with that? They probably think I'm some kind of weirdo."
Once the other two people stopped staring at him they finally responded and Jason figured out that the names of he two other people were David and Bella.
David was a medium warrior while Bella was a mage and Ivy had chosen the healer starting class. As the four chatted they noticed that they each had a small item next to where that woke up as well as a piece of paper. Jason had a small knife and David had a sword while the two girls both got small wands.
On the pice of paper there was a note.
-Welcome to the system. The next three weeks has been designated as the tutorial stage in the initialization of the new universe. The system interface can be accessed by willing to see your skills. For the duration of the tutorial, experience rates will be multiplied by a factor of 2.5. Attributes such as strength or magic capacity will increase in accordance with level but can be boosted through skills and classes-
The group stood there in silence as the realization hit them that they were in a completely different situation of life than they had been in untill Bella exclaimed " wow! this interface thing is weird."
Jason followed this up by calling his skill list up

Dash allowed him to increase his speed with increased stamina consumption, enhanced speed was a passive skill that boosted his agility by a factor of 1.5, and basic stealth gave him knowledge of rudimentary stealth when he focused on the skill.
While lost in thought he was suddenly jerked back to reality by the sound of a branch breaking in the surrounding woods. From the trees came a wolf that measured over 5 feet at the shoulder. It's eyes glowed an eerie light and it's claws shone sharp in the sunlight. It creeped slowly to the group that was all lost in thought except for Jason, who was frozen in fear. The adrenaline finally kicked in and he launched himself to his feet while simultaneously drawing his dagger. The sudden movement startled the others out of thought and they finally noticed the wolf.
The wolf also took note of all four people looking at it and realized that it had lost the element of surprise. All parties stood in a staredown untill the wolf made he first move. It moved with such speed and in such a surprise that the four didn't react untill the last moment. David clumsily blocked a claw swipe but lost his sword and had no other means of protection untill Bella hit it in the left shoulder and directed its attention onto her. The wolf charged her as she tried to scramble away but she wasn't fast enough and the wolf was on her in seconds. With Bella pinned against the ground, it raised its paw to strike but Jason made it just in time. He stabbed the already wounded shoulder and the wolf lunged for him. The two rolled around on the ground each trying to kill the other, but in the end Jason came out on top. Well not literally, he was still pinned beneath the behemoth untill he was extricated by David dragging him out. Ivy rushed over and started to heal him and ask if he has any major injuries. Jason had a glassy eyed stare and a grin that he couldn't seem to wipe away. He could feel the pain ,but it was insignificant in intensity when compared to the pure euphoria at the fight and the two word message following it.
