Shen was sitting on a wodden chair inside his home, Floof was peacefully sleeping on Shen's thighs.
To deal with the medicinal stench present inside his house, Shen had been reading the books that he stole from the Alchemy Pavilion's treasury.
Coupled with the "fast thinking" effect which he got from Dao Transcending Conscious Tempering Art, he had been breezing though them.
Although, it was impossible to remember or understand the texts in one go, reading the book a couple or more times was definately helping.
" To remove medicinal stench, one can use their spiritual qi to slowly drive it out, use water related techniques to gather it, use fire related techniques to burn it or use a stronger smell to temporarily mask it."
"So, from what I've read upto now, the medicinal stench isn't completely a physical smell, it's more of a residue effect of a pill that still lingers around."

It was quite the predicament...
The physical stench needed alchemist techniques to deal with or slow dissipation with time, whereas Shen could deal with the physical aspect through his Thunderleaf Inner Resonance Scripture in a few hours or so.
"Well, I can only do this for now."
Shen stopped speaking and closed his eyes.
Upon closing his eyes, Shen started to circulate the Thunderleaf Inner Resonance Scripture.
The sprout of resonance had grown, from 2 leafs, it had already gone to having 9 leaflets.
This was mainly due to Shen's advancement in cultivation, furthermore, small lotuses had also started to grow around the sprout.
This was currently the image of Shen's mind.
As Shen started to circulate the Thunderleaf Inner Resonance Scripture, sparks of lightening started to appear around his chair.
Small sprouts started to emerge from the wooden chair and the surrounding floor.
The sparks of lightening were projected from Shen's spiritual qi.
His qi was attributed towards thunder and wood, thus he could induce certain phenomenon regarding the same.
Shen kept circulating Thunderleaf Inner Resonance Scripture, while making sure to not affect the sleeping Floof, his thunder and wooden qi kept surging into his surroundings, causing wondorous phenomenons.
The reminant pill effects started to collide with Shen's spiritual qi and started to oppose it.
It was basically a war of attrition, Shen's thunder and wooded qi fought and dissipated while also dissipating the spiritual medicinal stench.
However, Shen could replinish his spiritual qi whereas the medicinal stench had now way to replenish itself.
"The spiritual medicinal stench is quite similar to spiritual qi..."
It had been 3 hours since Shen had began removing the spiritual stench away, most of the medicinal stench had been removed and replaced with Shen's own thunder qi and wooden qi.
In other words, this qi of "medicinal stench" had been lessened and replaced with a stench of thunder qi and wooden qi.
Thus, if someone were to come here to analyse, they would mostly think that a cultivator who's attributes are of thunder and wood had consumed some pills.
It was good progress, Shen had already spent 3 hours in purification and 2 hours in cramming through texts which he had stolen from the Alchemy Pavilion.
Thus, he had only 5 hours left according to the system.
Nonetheless, Shen kept circulating the Thunderleaf Inner Resonance Scripture while dyeing his home in his own qi.
2 hours later....
"Finally.... I've successfully removed almost the entirety of the Spiritual Stench"
At the same moment, System's notification rang.

The "penalty" had changed!
"So, the quests that the system provides are not set in stone?"

"So, the tasks by the system are not set in stone but are flexible instead!"
Shen's curiousity in the system grew.
'What defined this change in the system?'
'Is the system an autonomous entity who operates on its own?'
'Or does something else influences it?'
The system was truly interesting....
"Nonetheless, now that the time I have has been extended, the pressure that I have has been lessened quite a bit."
The sun had already set by now, thus Shen covered himself with a blanket and went to sleep.
6 hours later.....
Sun's rays permeated through the windows, falling upon Shen's silk like jet black hair which flowed down like a river.
"WooF! WooF!" Floof ahd been running up and down throuought the house energetically since the last few minutes.
"Good morning Floof!" Shen gently grabbed floof and started scratching it's tummy while tossing out steak and honey which he took out of his Creative Inventory.
"WooF! Woof!"
After having his full, Floof started to lick Shen's face all over while also disheaving Shen's hair through it's paws.
"Haha, Calm down... calm down Floof," Shen laughed playfully which resisting Floof's attacks.
After a while, Shen let Floof out the house to wander around, while he himself started to head out towards the Management Pavilion.
