CHAOS POV
I stare at the quivering form before me, blood trickling from the cut on his lip. His green eyes wild as he stares back at me, his lavender hair a mangled mess His skin clinging to his skeletal form.
"Try to escape again and I will fucking end you, I will cut out your intestines and strangle you with them." The man before me makes no indication that he heard. I kick my foot out, connecting with his ribs before turning and striding out of the room.
Why Father felt the need to make things so complicated I would never understand. It was how he had alway operated, he was a puppet master pulling the strings from behind. Few people knew just how powerful he really was, and those that did feared him. With any luck I could get away from here soon, take Rose far away from here, from the madness that seemed to consume those around us, none of them could see the true danger lurking in front of them. They couldn't protect her, not like I could.
