When Arima woke up, he saw in front of him, sitting was a weeping Evan. Crying was unexpected from Evan as he was the most cool headed and calm type of a person, as far as Arima knew. Arima looked around his surroundings. He was in an unknown place. The room was made of bare bricks, no putty or paint on them. The walls were filled with graffiti doodles. There were broken machine parts laying around the corner, along with empty bottles and cigarette butts.
"Where am I....." Arima was cutoff by Evan who hugged him tight. "Don't you ever dare faint on me..." Evan demanded as tears gushed down his eyes. Arima was completely unconscious for almost 13 hours. Those were the hardest 13 hours of Evan's life up until now. Arima hugged him back. "Trust me I missed you as well."
"Don't you dare joke around just after waking up"
"I'm telling the truth though."
"But how, were you awake this whole time?"
"Yes"
"How?"
Arima told Evan everything that happened. The voices in his head, the creator, how he was the descendant of the person who made this world the mess it is, how his life was nothing but a grand experiment, how the parents he missed were nothing but pawns in this grand facade.
"You're not a faker as well are you?" Arima hesitantly asked Evan. What happened next was unexpected, even for Arima. Evan leaned forward, his eyes locked with Arima's. Evan's lips touched Arima's lips. Arima, in reflex pulled back. He hesitated, but he let his lips meet Evan.
Like sharing a symphony, their lips twisted over each other. Their tongues rolling about. They played with each other's lips. Arima decided to pull away, only to get the urge to let things go. Evan pushed Arima, making him fall back on the bed. He sat on top of Arima's crotch.
"Do you want more of a proof,..." Evan asked "...that I'm not some sort of pawn placed in your life to modify it but rather the person who literally loves you more than anyone else?"
Arima shook his head, still staring at Evan. Both their faces bright red.
"Ahem..." A familiar voice broke the silence, alerting them of their surroundings. It was Vixen. "We got things to arrange before another mess happens, if Romeo and Juliet are done with their little reunion perhaps."
