"Tell me pretty boy with a weird eye, are you one of the Scarlets?" The girl asked, a weird smile on her face "cuz of you are you better be off or it won't turn good."
"I told you,..." Arima said as he stood up.
"I'M NOT A VAMP" he shouted.
"I know a vamp when I meet one. All vamps have a smell different than humans. And I'm pretty sure you smell the same as any other vamp." She said.
"You know why? Cuz I'm a vamp as well."
A shiver ran down Arima's spine when he heard those words. "Haha....." He broke into a sad laughter. "What happened to you all of a sudden?" The girl asked, confused, as she heard him laughing with his head bent down.
"HAHA...."
"AAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA"
"HAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"
"AS IF THIS DAY WASN'T ALREADY A BURDEN ON ME.... NOW I'M GETTING BEATEN BY A 'VAMP' WHO THINKS I'M A VAMP AS WELL" he shouted, tears streaming down his face.
"You know what? Kill me if you want but please don't harm that boy." Arima said he lost all hopes at that moment. "With pleasure." The girl said as she leapt forward, baring sharp claws at Arima. He closed his eyes, accepting his fate.
Just then he heard a loud, sharp voice in his head
"KILL..."
Before he knew it His right arm moved on an impulse. When he opened his eyes he saw that the girl has been impaled by claws, the 'claws' of his hand. His right arm had been morphed into what looked like a calamity's limb.
"Wh....what the hell....a..re you?" The girl said whimpering. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to...." Arima said, with a worried look in his face. He pulled his arm back. Another sharp voice in his head "KILL HER..." His arm moved again and went straight for the girl's head. But before he could strike her she moved and dodged it. "You'll pay...." the girl said as she ran away.
Arima ran towards Evan. He was lying on the ground. His right shoulder was wounded and deep red blood was oozing out. Arima tried picking him up only using his left arm but wasn't able. He had no idea of how to turn his right arm normal again. Having no other choice he extended his right arm to pick him up. To his surprise, his hand warped back to normal.
Arima picked up Evan in his arms. The moment he brought him closer, the smell of blood became more intense. He was having a hard time holding back as he was starving.
"Don't even think of doing anything" Arima told himself. He ran, holding Evan on his back, into a nearby abandoned building.
Arima put Evan down on a clear spot. "This is not what we deserve." Arima thought.
