The BLUE SAPPHIRE
(4. Suspicious Objects)
•••
After cooling down, Janu and Eden, along with the police team, began to trace the burnt building.
This was done, in order to find out the cause of the explosion and objects that might be used as evidence or the like. When it comes to museum collections, it's possible that nothing could be saved, considering that the red rooster was so violent earlier.
The forensic team immediately traced the area of the building that left only the pillars. Successive explosions, leveling the building to the ground.
"Search for anything suspicious! If you find one, report it immediately!" Eden ordered his subordinates.
"Yes, sir!" everyone's fun at the same time.
They began to explore the remains of the ruins of the building. Perhaps, find the cause of the series of explosions.
Janu did not want to lose either. He also tries to solve this case. According to him, it was quite challenging and interesting, because the perpetrator had stolen the latest collection from The King Hunter Museum. In other words, the perpetrator had prepared this detonation plan in advance. Because, The King Hunter Museum, announced the arrival of the newest collection, about a month ago.
Janu, can confirm the culprit, of course not just any thief. There was no way, someone could easily pass through the tight guard without being noticed by the officers.
Janu continued to explore the area, until he finally found a box-shaped object, which was charred.
Its position is far from the front area of the building. It is possible that the object was sent flying when the explosion occurred.
Janu immediately took the box-shaped object using a handkerchief, because she didn't want her fingerprints to be left on the object.
"What is this thing?" Janu analyzed it as a whole. Starting from the shape and smell. Yes, it does smell burnt. However, Janu could see that there were traces of white powder on the object.
Janu touched the powder, sniffed the aroma and felt the texture of the powder.
"Is this gunpowder? Did this thing cause the explosion?" muttered Janu wonderingly, examining his findings.
In fact, he wasn't entirely sure that the powder was gunpowder, but from the texture and color, it looked exactly like explosives.
Not far from where he was standing, Janu also found a similar black object, near a pole.
Janu did not want his discovery to be known alone. Thus, he called out to Eden, who was some distance away from where he was standing now.
Eden, who felt called, immediately left his place. Taking quick steps towards Janu on the other end.
"What's wrong, Janu? Did you find anything, related to this incident?" he asked probingly. Due to the many pieces of glass and other debris, it was quite difficult for Eden to stand on, because the shoes she was wearing were not thick enough. It could be, the shard penetrated the lining of his shoes.
"It looks like this thing was used by the culprit to blow up this smithy." Janu held out his find, covered in the handkerchief.
"Is it true?" Eden didn't believe him right away. He took it first.
"Just look at the powder that's on that thing. Isn't that gunpowder?"
If only Janu hadn't mentioned gunpowder, then Eden wouldn't have believed that the thing he was holding right now was an explosive.
Eden touched the powder. He sniffed her scent, just like Janu had done earlier.
"Hey, come here!" Eden called the forensic officer who happened to be not far from his current position.
The officer saluted Eden first, "Yes, Captain."
"Check this thing, quick! One more thing. Make sure, whether the powder attached to this thing, is gunpowder," he ordered clearly while handing the object to the officer.
"Okay sir." The officer saluted and immediately left Eden and Janu.
The two men from different generations looked at each other and were absorbed in each other's thoughts. Especially Janu, who is currently examining the series of events, from the results of the witness statements.
"What kind of person did you think it was? Why do I feel like this person is so smart and experienced? He dared to blow up this building, just to destroy the evidence of the theft of the Gems," Janu muttered, split-minded.
Until this second, he still has not found a bright spot in the explosion case. It's just that, the object that is alleged to be the cause of this chaos, will be valid evidence to find the culprit.
"What do you think, Captain?" he ejected, which suddenly made Eden wake up from his reverie.
Just like what Janu said, Eden also had the same thought. What's more, this is a very shocking case of theft.
"Looks like we can't find the culprit in a short time, because the police also have to have strong evidence and moreover, this place has been destroyed. The only way we can know the culprit, is only the object that was just found. I'm sure, that the perpetrator wouldn't have left his fingerprints on that thing."
Janus looked back. It is true that the culprit will not leave his fingerprints on the explosive object. Very impossible.
Janu also recognized heavy breathing, because he felt stuck. It was difficult for him to solve this case in a short time. Remember, there are no objects or the like, to be used as evidence.

Meanwhile, separately. Far from the blast site. A young man, tall, strong muscles and strong jaw, was enjoying a drink at one of the clubs, which is still located in the center of Sky Blue City.
He smirked as he shook his glass clockwise. 'I didn't expect it, it turns out that stealing the Gem is as easy as turning your palm,' he thought without taking his eyes off the glass which still contained a small amount of his drink.
The young man named Zayn, age twenty seven years. An unemployed person, proficient in martial arts and infiltration. Very happy with shiny things, such as jewelry.
Zayn, is waiting for someone there. He had been at the bar for an hour and how long would he have to wait?
Not only Zayn who was in the club, but there were several young couples who were busy dating.
Zayn has absolutely no interest in them. It doesn't matter if they kiss or something in front of his eyes. For him, having a relationship like that, would not make him happy.
"You fools!" he cursed, smiling cynically, at those who were busy making out.
Zayn downed his drink. When the glass stood upright on the bar table, a second later his cell phone rang.
Zayn took it out of his trouser pocket and smirked. "Finally, you contacted me too," he muttered while sliding the green button.
His cell phone was pressed to his ear.
[Yes, it's me.]
[Come to the port immediately! Boss is waiting for you!]
[Okay. Fifteen minutes I'll be there]
The phone line ended. Zayn cursed annoyed, because he had to wait a long time to be contacted by that person.
Before leaving, Zayn paid for the drinks he had finished earlier. After that, he hurriedly left the place.
His car is parked not far. Zayn fastened his seat belt, then started his car engine and stepped on the gas, leaving that place.
He had promised to be at the port within fifteen minutes. Even though the distance from the place to drink, to the harbor is about twenty-five minutes. In other words, Zayn has to cut those ten minutes, so his Boss doesn't wait.
