The BLUE SAPPHIRE

(3. Destruction)

•••

Dozens of fire engines were deployed to tame the red fire. The medical team was immediately dispatched to save the victims in the explosion incident.

Not a few of them were seriously injured, even to the point that some were critical because the building collapsed.

Those who are critical are usually the officers on guard in the building. While those who were outside the building, only suffered minor injuries due to the stampede when trying to save their lives.

"Doctor! Help my child, Doc!" shouted a man in his forties, holding his daughter who was about the age of about 20 years old, with her head covered in blood.

The man also suffered the same head injury. However, he was still able to stand, while his daughter was unconscious. He called the Medical Team so that his daughter, too, would get treatment. Because earlier, the medics were busy with others.

Her call was finally heard by a beautiful doctor, who happened to be in a position not too far from the man. He had just finished dispensing medicine to a beautiful teenager, who had a wound on her right arm.

The thirty-three year old girl, named Olivia Eve, rushed to run towards the man. The distance is not too far, Olivia can reach in a few seconds.

"Your daughter has a head injury! Quickly lay her down!" Olivia exclaimed reflexively, then helped the man lay his son's body on the ground, barefoot.

Olivia immediately took out her medical equipment from the white box she had brought earlier. Then, giving first aid to the little girl.

Deftly, Olivia cleaned the blood that kept flowing from the boy's head.

After making sure the flow of blood stopped coming out, Olivia immediately called other medical personnel to take the little girl to the hospital.

Next Olivia gave first aid to the man. The wound he got was not as bad as his daughter's, so it was easy for Olivia to treat it.

The two immediately got into the car to get further treatment at the hospital later.

Olivia exhaled heavily and lowered her head, "Who made this mess? Such a heartless person! How could he make these people hurt? What kind of human is he who is so heartless to cause panic everywhere? Is he still worthy of being called a human, ah?" he growled as he clenched his hands which were covered in blood.

The doctor's oversized white coat must be stained with blood, which is clearly not his blood. Olivia, cursing whoever she was who had made the mess, got the punishment she deserved. If necessary, he must experience thousands of sufferings before dying!

"Doctor!" called someone, who woke Olivia from her reverie.

"Yes! I'll be there!" The girl with jet black hair, long tied like a ponytail, immediately ran, approaching her colleague who had called her earlier.

Olivia and the other medical team are working hard to provide full care to the victims of the explosion in The King Hunter Museum building.

Meanwhile, no less overwhelmed than the Medical Team, the Firefighters were struggling to put out the flames that were still burning at The King Hunter Museum. Several officers entered the building, to make sure no one was trapped there.

It took a long time for the firefighters to tame the flames. About two hours, until the fire was completely extinguished.

Police officers were also on guard there. Dispel local residents to approach the area. Because not a few of them, who want to know the location of the incident. Even though the area had been cordoned off by police, they still insisted on having a closer look.

The news of The King Hunter Museum fire immediately spread throughout the country. Through social media, the news quickly became known to all walks of life.

A young man, aged thirty, named Janu Farid Kesar, immediately came to the location, after receiving news that The King Hunter Museum had an explosion and many people were victims.

Janu Farid Kesar, who is usually called Janu, is a young detective who works part time at a restaurant in Sky Blue City.

"Captain Eden!" Janu called, at the stout, pot-bellied man who was neatly dressed there.

The 50-year-old man, whose full name is Eden Carel, looked back. His smile widened when he found out that Janu had arrived here too.

"Janu. What made you late?" asked Eden, the police officer from the crime and crime division. His relationship with Janu is quite close, so it's not awkward when chatting like it is now.

"Sorry, Captain Eden, I'm late because the road leading here is closed. I have to take another route to get here," said Janu with a wry smile.

From his narrative, it can be described that the road leading to The King Hunter Museum is definitely experiencing obstacles. The area around here is indeed closed and the other lanes are only meant for vehicles from the Fire Department, the Medical Team and the Police.

Janu's arrival was indeed too late, because the flames that burned the entire building had been extinguished and the victims had received medical treatment.

"As you can see. The condition of The King Hunter Museum has been burnt." Eden did not discuss the problem of traffic jams anymore. Now he, focusing on the fire incident.

"Does the Captain know what caused the fire?" asked Janu, curious.

"According to the officer on duty here, an explosion was heard from the second floor of this building. The explosion was not just once, but up to six times at almost the same time," Eden explained, reading the notes he had written in a mini-sized book, perfect for carrying anywhere.

Listening to Eden's narrative, made Janu frown. His eyebrows also rose one side, "Six explosions, how come? Is The King Hunter Museum's security that weak, so that it explodes up to six times at the same time?"

Concurring with Janu, the man who has worked in the police force for twenty-five years, also questioned the security system of The King Hunter Museum, which reportedly has a very tight security system. However, the facts are different from what has been spread so far.

"Isn't it today, The King Hunter Museum, the arrival of a new collection from the Gem Collector? Wasn't the guard up tight, that this incident happened?" asked Janu, still can't stop thinking, that a very famous museum in Sky Blue City, should be cheated like this.

"The Blue Sapphire has been stolen, before the explosion occurred!" shouted someone from behind Janu.

Eden, who was about to speak out to answer Janu's question, also discouraged him, because the man who had just arrived interrupted their conversation.

"Who are you?" asked Janu, full of vigilance.

The bald-headed man, is none other than the leader of the officers on guard at the museum road.

"I am the Chief guard here. My name is Baron Kenzo. I am in charge of the security system at The King Hunter Museum," he replied without hesitation.

Eden and Janu, looked at the man who introduced his name Baron, from head to toe. His head was bandaged, then his clothes were dirty and there were bloodstains. Is it the blood of the Baron or another victim? Obviously, the bald-headed man was the victim of the explosion at The King Hunter Museum.

"Earlier, you said that the Blue Sapphire Jewel, had been stolen. Who would have dared to steal it?" asked Eden, who couldn't help but ask.

Janu wanted to ask the same question, but Eden had already done so. As a result, he just kept silent to listen.

"About twelve or fifteen seconds before the first explosion, there was a sudden blackout in the building. There was a sound of breaking glass. After a few seconds, the electricity came back on and that's when, the Gems disappeared. Shortly after, the first explosion occurred. It was from the second floor. About two seconds later, a second explosion occurred. Then, the third through the sixth followed almost simultaneously. I was a witness when it occurred."

Baron's statement was immediately recorded by Eden in his mini notebook. Meanwhile Janu, recorded every word the Baron said in her memory, while analyzing the incident.

"It happened very fast apparently. So, the sequence of events, the Blue Sapphire is stolen first, then the explosion occurred?" repeated Janu, citing Baron's statement.

"That's right. Even those of us who were on guard could not see who was the perpetrator who had stolen the Blue Sapphire Gem. When the Officers were about to chase him, that's when an explosion occurred," Baron explained again.

Janu stroked his chin, his eyes sweeping over the charred building of The King Hunter Museum.

Who has done all this? Was he after that Permana? If so, then shouldnt he blow up this building? muttered Janu, deep in thought.

From Baron's narrative, it does not explain the characteristics of the culprit. This is because the Baron did not see the perpetrators as a whole, because the explosions occurred at almost the same time.
