The shiny metallic elevator shook and rumbled as it zoomed up the large tower. This elevator wasn't the ones with the casually rope that pulls and drops, but instead a magnetic elevator that uses constant potential energy to control the movement. That was one of the beauties the world has now. Cars are fueled by water, power outages are less common, slightly more advanced infrastructure, and more job opportunities that aid in society. It isn't the cybernetic stuck to hard-drives type of thing most people from the Twentieth-century would've expected us to have, but we have what we need to live. Are some of us happy with our conditions? No, but while those rich folk sit down at a fancy restaurant poppin champagne, the poor sit here drinking what we can scrape by to pay for as a family.

Siren and Azazel stand as they watch as they rise rapidly up the tower. The old man had finally fallen asleep and the only noise that was in there was the sound of the railing as it skidded repeatedly. Azazel stood there patiently waiting as she looked over and noticed Siren looking unusual compared to what he looked like earlier. " What do you have on your mind?" She asked curiously as she leaned in closer towards him. Siren sighed as he took a few steps and looked at the view of the town he loved. "What are you? You don't feel human, and you don't quite give off the feeling of someone who is . . . alive." He said while trying not to lock eyes with her. There wasn't a response. Instead the sound of tapping grew closer towards him,as he could feel the hairs on his neck quivering rapidly.
" The value in asking questions is that you ask them to get an answer you actually want." Azazel mutters in his ear.
She aggressively grabbed Siren's arms and turned him around, pinning him against the cold window. Azreal's cold endless gaze stared directly into him as he shut his eyes tightly in fear.
" You are only what others desire you to be, but nobody, not even yourself knows your true identity." She said,
Within a blink of an eye, her face disappeared, leaving on her constant and rapid twitching eyes in a black pitch across her face. Siren's face paralyzed as Azreal moved in slower as tentacle emerged out of the corners of the darkness across her face.
"You are NOTHING! You are just a meaningless pawn for the master's plan!" Her voice sounded demonic as it shrieked in Siren's ears.
"Don't know about you but I'd prefer to be the knight-" Right before Siren could finish, the tentacles wrapped around his neck and squeezed tightly.
"I said you will be whatever my master NEEDS you to be, besides you can't be anything else as long as i'm around. She said as the elevator opened. Her beady eyes stared at Siren as she noticed his eyes had entered the Void state. Siren shoved her as he walked out shaken, and mentally stressed by what happened.
His eyes began spazzing out as walked past people as their distasteful gaze watched him pass by. Siren's composure began to shatter once more as the eyes followed him, but he continued to try as he finally reached it.
