"So I shouldn't show just anyone I'm a Tamer but, wouldn't it be obvious with monsters following me around? More importantly where would you sleep at? I mean look at you, you're huge. Though I guess you could make yourself a hut or something right?" Chronic asked. "Haha, relax kid, when you tame a monster you get a Monster Tamer Mark. Usually it appears on the hand but, because I'm not exactly an expert I'm assuming you can place it anywhere you wish. The mark is supposed to house your tamed monsters somehow, and when you request our help we take a physical form. I only know this much because I met a tamer once, I didn't like him so I died without giving him my name. Only after I was brought back did I find out he nearly destroyed the world, that man called himself the demon king and his name was Decay. That's all I know about tamers I'm afraid, we will have to learn more together going forward. That said we should fight now, you can tell me all about yourself when you tame me assuming you can, that said my name is Agni you better remember it if you win. haha" explained Agni as he laughed and stood up grabbing his swords. Standing up himself and drawing his sword Chronic shouted with a smile "Your master will be me, and my name is Chronic" as he charged forward. "Defeat me then" shouted Agni back as he too charged forward.
Agni being larger took the first attack swinging his sword, seeing it coming quickly Chronic jumped back avoiding it. When he landed he saw Agni fired a massive fireball at him, he jumped and took to the sky and fired off several giant ice spikes. Agni, a little surprised dodged most of them while cutting the one he couldn't, seeing that Chronic decided to try water. He summoned one hundred and twenty waterballs and sent them at Agni, not one to be upstaged he matched the waterballs with fireballs not seeing he was falling into the trap Chronic was setting. Twenty minutes later the trap was set, steam covered so thickly that it was hard to see more than 5 feet in any direction around Agni. "Is that really all you have Chronic? I'm starting to think I misjudged you" Agni said. "Don't worry Agni I'm about to finish this" he replied freezing all the steam around Agni. Seconds later the ice formed into extremely compact ice needles, and were fired at Agni ripping his body apart. Remembering not to damage Agni's soul gem not one ice needle hit his head, Chronic quickly gathered the horns and nose ring before carefully extracting the soul gem from the center of Agni's brain.
holding the gem in his hand he called out "Angi" and waited, for a whole minute nothing happened. Chronic started to panic thinking he did it wrong, however he heard a loud cracking noise seconds later only to feel light headed. Chronic passed out waking up three hours later, Agni was sitting next to him keeping him safe from any potential danger. "Damn my head hurts, what the hell happened?" Chronic asked. "Well, as I was summoned back to life I saw you pass out, so I decided to keep watch over you. When I fully became physical your palm started glowing, I'm assuming your Monster Tamer Mark is there" Agni said. Looking at his palm he found a mark that looked like a circle with a spike sticking out from the bottom. "Okay, so how do I call you back so we can continue forward?" Chronic asked. "Hell if I know kid, I thought you'd kinda just know" Agni replied. "Okay, Agni return!" Chronic shouted "What are you doing kid? I'm already next to you but I guess I could sit on you if you want me closer" Agni said with a smile. "Screw it, I'll figure it out later, let's go I've got a labyrinth to complete. can you fly?" Chronic asked. "Yeah, just let me put my Tutu on and grab my magic wand. haha no, I can't fly do you see wings on my back kid?" Agni asked back with a toothy smile. "Damn this is stressing. I really wish I had blunt right now, fuck it, guess we are walking." Chronic stated with annoyance. "What's a blunt kid?" Agni asked confused. "Come on, I'll explain on the way. I'll even give you one when I get my seeds when I turn 12 years old and see the Gods" Chronic stated leading the way to the next floor.
"So, you smoke this plant by wrapping it up in something called "paper" and burning one end and breathing in from the other? And then you cough and that brings you "peace" until you get an item called "The Munchies" that you eat? asked Agni rubbing his head. "You got the first part right but, you don't get an item from smoking it. You smoke it and it makes you feel peace, back on earth it's called getting high because if you do it right you feel as though you are soaring in the air. Like you can feel the planet move through space. Maybe, it's just something you have to experience yourself to really get it, and after you experience being high you start to get hungry. that feeling of being hungry is called the munchies, because you start to crave food and can eat way more than normal" Chronic said smiling, thinking about how funny it will be to see a high Minotaur. "Okay, well I look forward to smoking this "weed" thing then" Agni said trying to picture it in his head. Five hours later they reached the third floor boss, "Um, hey why isn't that boss a Minotaur? I thought it was a Labyrinth dungeon so shouldn't all the bosses be Minotaurs?" Chronic asked confused. "Who told you that?" Agni replied, "Well no one did, I just kinda assumed that was the theme. It's a Clay Golem, do you know what the other two bosses are?" asked Chronic slightly embarrassed. "Yeah, the next boss after this is a Stone Golem, and then the last boss I think it is called a Hell Fire Phoenix" Agni replied. "Do you think you can beat them Agni?" Chronic asked to which "Honestly, the Clay Golem should be easy, the Stone Golem I'm not sure, and the Hell Fire Phoenix not a chance" was his answer. "Okay, show me what you can really do Agni" Chronic said while he started thinking about how to unsummon Agni. The battle lasted ten minutes and left Agni tired, "Next time I'll start with fire. haha" Agni said with a hearty laugh. Nine hours later they fought the Stone Golem together, Agni took a deadly Terra spike to the chest and started to fade away. while he was disappearing Chronic felt sad blaming himself because he couldn't unsummon him, however he felt a heavy pressure on his chest while his Monster Tamer Mark started to glow. when Agni completely disappeared he heard him in his head, "So you figured it out kid, good thing too because I was starting to think I was going to die again. haha" Agni said with a relieved laugh.
