The penthouse is now extraordinarily quiet in comparison to earlier. He still smiled at Serena this morning, but now there is simply a silent dining table. The owner went home in a state of terror after hearing the door being opened roughly.
"Moore!" Ryan yelled, meeting the assistant, who was startled in front of the window, looking out at the skyscrapers and the Hudson River in the distance. "Is Serena at home? She's in the room."
"No, she's not here anymore," Moore responded worriedly. "I just arrived late; Serena is gone."
Damn it. They had lost his wife so quickly. Serena's bag was not found in the bedroom when Ryan checked.
"Look for her, summon your men, and track her down in this city!" Ryan was very unhappy that he hadn't had time to clarify what was going on between them.
