Chereads / Chasing Back My Contract Wife / Chapter 2 - return the money

Chapter 2 - return the money

After Casiano left, his personal assistant Sam came in with a medicine.

He handed the medicine to Alla, respectfully saying, "Ms. Barton, sorry for the inconvenience."

It was a contraceptive. Casiano didn't love her, so naturally, he wouldn't allow her to get pregnant.

Every time after, he would send Sam to deliver the medicine, and command Sam to watch her take it.

Alla looked at the white pill, her heart aching again.

She didn't know if it was because her heart was completely worn out or because she was hurt by Casiano's indifference, but she was in so much pain that she could barely breathe.

"Ms. Barton..."

Seeing her unresponsive, Sam immediately reminded her, fearing that she wouldn't take it.

Alla glanced at him, silently accepted it, put it in her mouth, and swallowed it without even drinking water.

Only then did Sam put away his worried expression, take out the property certificate and check from his bag, and lay them out in front of Alla.

"Ms. Barton, this is the compensation Mr. Davies gives you, in addition to the house and luxury car, an extra 50 million, please accept it."

Quite generous.

Pity though, what she wanted was never money.

Alla looked up at Sam and smiled: "I don't want these."

Sam was taken aback, somewhat puzzled, "Do you think it's too little?"

Hearing these words, Alla felt a pang in her heart.

Even Sam thought she was after money, not to mention Casiano.

Such a high breakup fee, he was afraid that she would pester him for money in the future, wasn't he?

Alla gave a bitter smile, picked up the bag beside her, took out a black card from it, and handed it to Sam, "This is what he gave me, can you help me return it to him, and tell him that I have never used a penny of his money, so naturally I won't accept his breakup fee."

Sam was completely stunned, in these five years, Ms. Barton has never used a penny from Mr. Davies?

Alla didn't care whether Sam believed it or not, directly put the black card on the pile of property certificates.

Turned around, left mansion No.1.

The winter of the city, was a bit cold.

Alla walked on the streets of the villa area.

Her slender figure was reflected on the ground, looking extremely thin.

She tightened her beige coat, gritted her teeth, walked back to the apartment in her high heels, step by step.

She pushed open the door, it was very big inside, occupying the area of one floor, and the decoration was extremely luxurious.

But Alla felt it was cold as ice, without any warmth, just like Casiano's heart.

She sat on the sofa, was in a daze for a while, then started packing up.

This apartment was given to her by Casiano.

Since he didn't want her anymore, she wouldn't want what he gave either.

Alla took out a suitcase, opened the wardrobe, put all her clothes in the suitcase.

She didn't bring many things over, simply packed up and left the apartment with the suitcase.

After getting in the car, she sent Sam a text message.

[Sam, the passcode for the Imperial Mansion is 1573.]

Sam was a smart man, he immediately understood after seeing the message.

Not only did Ms. Barton not spend a penny of Mr. Davies' money, she didn't even want the apartment Mr. Davies gave her.

So clean and neat, not at all like the woman who knelt in front of Mr. Davies five years ago, begging Mr. Davies to buy her for a night for one million.

He quickly returned to the company, returned everything to Casiano as it was, and relayed Alla's words to him without missing a word.

Casiano lifted his indifferent and aloof peach blossom eyes, swept a glance at the things on the table, and his cold gaze settled on the black card.

He asked Sam coldly, "Is there an extra million inside?"

Sam immediately nodded, "Yes."

Before Sam returned to the company, he checked the amount in the black card at the bank.

In addition to the money Mr. Davies ordered him to transfer every month, there was an extra million.

Obviously, this was the money Ms. Barton returned to Mr. Davies for selling herself.

Casiano frowned, pondered for a while, then stretched out his well-defined fingers, picked up the black card, and broke it directly.

Then he pushed the pile of property certificates to Sam, and ordered coldly, "Clean it up."

Sam opened his mouth, wanting to say something good for Ms. Barton, but saw that Casiano had already opened his computer and started working.

Sam wisely shut his mouth, picked up the things, and left the CEO's office.
