Chapter 14 - 14: Foundation.

~Akihara village, Year 33~

-Ryoichi's P.O.V-

I looked at the people Mirai had gathered. According to her, these people are trustworthy and smart enough to not reveal their budding organisation.

Well… I couldn't care less even if they revealed this organisation as none of them knew of my real face or name. Only Mirai knew because she would become an important member of the Heavenly Demon Cult. Cheezy I know… but again… I couldn't care less, we are not in the modern era and even if we were I wouldn't care.

I looked at the gathered men and women. Seven men and two women to be exact, looking all nervous and scared, especially the two women.

Three of the men gathered looked well-built, and what Mirai told me about them was right, they should be able to fight an Academy student and even take a few down if those students weren't careful.

"Here take these."

I handed Mirai a scroll that contained one of my inventions. A capsule that contains special types of supplementary liquids that have all the necessary components that a human's body needs to grow. Along those it also has steroids, but instead of muscle building, it forces the body to quickly produce Chakra.

The capsule which I named Chakra steroid capsules is actually a failed product mine that destroys one's potential to produce up to Chunin level Chakra.

Although I call it failed, it's a product that Hidden Villages would raze a War to get their hands on.

Not every Shinobi can become a Chunin, although Chakra is only one of the requirements, but it is the most important one. Now this failed product would become his organisation's foundation.

Originally I had some hesitation feeding Mirai this drug, but she has already passed her early 20s and has missed the best training period. The most she could become with her effort is a Genin. And I doubt she would be satisfied with that.

Well, it doesn't matter even if she loses some lifespan and potential, I can still make her live longer and become stronger after all my whole research revolves around those things.

The human potential is also something I'm very deeply invested in. A human in this world only has the potential to reach Kage level strength, in some rare cases Super Kage level. And that's nowhere near this world's ceiling.

Most Otsutsuki are above that level, at least all the known ones are, and if I remember correctly most of the known Otsutsuki are on lower Hierarchy. Every rundown Otsutsuki is above human's potential limits, I won't amount to much when they invade this planet in future as sooner or later I would also hit my natural limit.

And if my calculations are correct even after squeezing my potential perfectly I would cap at mid-Super Kage. Slightly stronger than Pain: A low-Super Kage, and a lot weaker than peak Hashirama and RINNEGAN Madara both at peak-Super Kage level.

So the earlier I start finding methods to overcome or break the natural limit, the better it is for me.

"These are…"

Mirai questioned after she accidentally opened the scrolls. I have just opened her Chakra path. I can relate to her anxiousness of using it.

Looking at her confused face, I explained to her what those pills were. I can see disbelief and slight greed in the eyes of all those listening, but I didn't say anything. It's better to entice people with rewards than to have them forced through fear. It's unproductive.

"Remember to take them before training to maximise the effect."

I advised them as I handed Mirai the training schedule. It was a gruelling one but I know they could do it with Chakra steroid capsules because they also slightly numb the pain receptor.

"Take these too, it will be used to fund the organisation."

I handed another two scrolls, one contained two MATRIX SEALs that are programmed to create sealing scrolls and the other has normal scrolls, ink, and other raw materials the matrix would need.

"All you have to do is insert scroll and supply Chakra, the matrix will handle the rest."

"You want us to sell sealing scrolls to Hidden Villages," Mirai questioned while checking out the matrix which I designed like a printer, although less bulkier since it didn't had any machine in it.

"No, I want you to meet a guy named Uzumaki Kenichi from Uzushiogakure and sell them to him, he owes me for saving him and his family." I answered.

"Why not the Hidden Villages, they would pay us more. Uzumaki doesn't need them, not to mention they tend to look down upon other people's seals."

"You know quite a lot about Uzumakis?" I asked, curious at my new subordinate's knowledge on Uzukmakis after all they are not famous amongst the common folk since they rarely go outside their village.

"Of course, I would, I was the daughter of a village chief. I interacted with many merchants, and my father also bought a few Uzumaki seals for the Shinobis working for us. We also had some defensive seals covering our house but they were destroyed by those bastards." Mirai explained to which I nodded.

"Good that knowledge will come in handy, and as for your question. Yes, the Hidden Villages will give us more profit, but they tend to screen all the merchants that sell their products to them, especially products related to Shinobi work. If we sell scrolls to them, they will definitely send someone to spy here, and if they find these matrixes they will forcefully take them, and kill you all and anyone related to you to hide their identities. This whole village will also become collateral." I explain which caused Mirai's eyes to widen in realization. She probably had thought the matrixes were special, but couldn't fathom the true value of such. Soon the realisation turned to anger in her eyes before disgust and slight contempt appeared in them for the Hidden Villages.

'Good…'

"Forget about Hidden Villages and focus on Kenichi. I will inform him of everything, you just have to deliver the sealing scrolls and he will pay the market price for them and also supply you with more raw materials."

"Now on to how you manage this village…"

-3rd POV-

.

Ryoichi then explained how they should build their base and scroll storage to hide it from Shinobi's eyes. He then personally told Mirai how to govern the village and improve the grain yield with modern farming methods. He also told her to only store enough grain to feed the village and sell the remaining ones to Hidden Villages to veil their real income source.

Ryoichi also mentioned how important it is to keep requesting missions to Hidden Villages, at least a few missions every month. He did so to make Hidden Villages have a favourable impression and try to avoid hurting this village in this war.

After everything was done and set in motion, Ryoichi finally focused on the real reason he took this mission.

He started preparing to take down Mizuki once and for all. The first two days he only surveyed the area and planted thousands of Fuinjutsu seals and a few matrix in the surrounding area in case something went wrong.

Yes, he was prideful with an ego issue, but that didn't prevent him from being cautious.

Ryoichi likes a battle where he has chances to die, but not really die. He likes the death battle because he feels truly alive after overcoming it, it's like a drug to him.

He probably got this suicidal habit from the many near-death experiences he had from almost turning into stone.

No person other than him is to really blame for his… for a better word "addiction". Him having suppressed almost all his emotions made it easy for him to become addicted to any new emotion he wasn't suppressing.

The current him is already a cold, calculative, and sadistic bastard who was getting a taste to have people dance to his tune. He has also started developing a lethal habit of taking smart and capable subordinates without any precautions even if he knew they could stab him in the back.

But does Ryoichi care? Absolutely not!

Ryoichi trusts himself completely and believes that before any subordinates can rebel against him, he'll be either out of their league or will already be an immortal god.
