As Adam looked upon the guns of those, he called friends, Cain said:
[Adam is that you?]
[Phew! Well at least one of you recognized me in time!] replied Adam as he gestured to them to lower their weapons
[Sorry about that Adam… is just its hasn't exactly been an easy mission] replied Baldwin as he helped Adam out of the hole
[after all we can't exactly trust our eyes] continued Baldwin
[Ya, I agree… it hasn't been a great mission…] replied Adam as he looked upon the surviving members and noticed a team missing.
[umm… Where is green team? Didn't you rescue them Cain?] asked Adam
With a downcast expression, Cain responded:
[dead to the last man… by the time I arrived at their location a weird witch type creature was turning their body into… well I don't exactly know…either way, once I realized they were dead I left and made my way here…]
[You mean that weird naked monster that attacked me?] replied Adam
[No! That was a different bitch that took out most of my team!] replied Cain angrily
Seeing Cain not wanting to talk about the naked woman, Adam turned to Baldwin and asked:
[I assume that behemoth mother fucker got you guys, but did you also run into the shark lady?]
[No! We came up here using a different shaft, as it was busy eating some of my men.] replied Baldwin just as visibly angry as Cain was.
Knowing it was better to shut up and change the topic, Adam asked:
[So, who has the logs?]
[I do, we were just discussing how to get the hell out of here. When you suddenly pop out of that hatch there. So, any ideas?] said Cain
[umm... We can't go back the way we came that would be suicidal! So, I suggest we check if this ship still has any escape pods functioning or if not then I guess we're going topside.] replied Adam as he gestured to the hatch that led to the roof
[ Well, I can tell you, now with certainty, that all the escape pods have already been used… not really that surprising considering the circumstances that the previous crew must have seen… So, I recommend we can check to see if we can connect to the Bloodthirsty and see what the captain has to say on this matter] replied Baldwin
With all in agreement to Baldwin's suggestion, they found that the interference was gone as long as they stayed on the bridge and didn't go anywhere else. While connecting to the bloodthirsty, Cain asked Adam what he had, and his team experienced to get here. While Baldwin said:
[come in bloodthirsty… I repeat! come in bloodthirsty! The raid is successful! I repeat! We have obtained the ship logs and recordings! Asking for immediate extraction!]
[excellent! Raid team! The captain is well pleased… Now explain to us your current situation!] replied the first mate
But as Baldwin was busy explaining the situation, Adam started to have a painful headache, while his injured arm started to vibrate with a coursing burning pain. But while he tried to hide his suffering Cain looked at Adam with squinted eyes and asked:
[Yo! Adam is everything ok...]
[Ya... It's just that my injury is acting up! But don't worry I can still keep up] replied Adam with his mouth as his mind was saying something else

[shut up! I don't know what you're saying!] thought Adam in his own mind

[Ah! Shut up!] yelled Adam suddenly to the shock of Cain and the others
[what? Who was that screaming just now?] asked the first mate
[Nothing… just Adam is freaking out… I think…] replied Baldwin
But as the first mate was talking to Baldwin, the captain overheard everything, and was in deep contemplation as his eyes glowed in wisdom red.
Concerned but not thinking too much into Adam outburst, the first mate said:
[II the captain is sending you a pickup ship, but you have to get to the top of the vessel! He said he will not risk another boarding party! OH! and Baldwin turn the mic off the speaker… the captain wants to talk to you.]
As Baldwin finished his conversation with the captain, the men ready themselves to leave through the maintenance hatchet at the top of the bridge. When Adam suddenly started to cough roughly, as the rest of the men turned to ask if he was alright, he nodded as he looked at the suspicious blood that had chunks of something blue mixed in. While his arm started to throb more violently.
While telling himself everything will be alright, he willed himself out of the hatch when abruptly Cain turned around and said:
[It's nothing personal Adam! Its just orders are orders!]
Confused, Adam stared shocked as Cain fired a round straight at his head! As Adam's body fell back inside the ship, Adam remembered the words he said to carlo, as the light in his eyes fadded. With the death of Adam, the remaining members turned around and shot anyone who was injured during the mission! Much to the confusion of the men, as they lay dying on the ghost ship, Baldwin turned to Cain and said:
[don't you think the captain's orders are just a little bit extreme…]
[maybe… but he must have a damn good reason for asking us to do such a thing, after all the captain has been around for many, many years.] replied Cain
As the men were questioning the captain's order, their pickup cab was just arriving, when they unexpectedly heard a Bang that came from the hatch that led to the bridge! Worried, the men raised their guns as the hatch was instantaneously blown off! With the hatched no longer able to hold back the monster within, many tentacles raced out impaling everyone!
As everyone was coughing out blood, the tentacles hastily retreated just as quickly as they appeared! While holding his stomach Cain looked up to see the image of Adam but it wasn't Adam anymore! The face of the man he once knew was gone! As if all the flesh around his mouth decayed, while his eyes shined in reddening glow! While blue flames accompanied his neck. While his right arm now looked like that of an octopus!
Scared! Cain watched, as their cab shot at the monster! Stunning the creature for a second! But while the monster was stunned, Cain didn't waste a single second and immediately jumped onto the cab that had just arrived! But as they were leaving, he noticed Baldwin was still alive! But not having time to go back, he turned around with his head low as they left him to the mercy of the monster!
As Adam picked up Baldwin, Baldwin looked him in the eye and spoke
[The captain was right… you are nothing but a monster now!]
Ignoring his once fellow man, Adam injected his master magic into Baldwin's mind! Quickly turning him into a servant of the old one just like him!
Captain Short POV
As the captain heard the entire story from Cain mouth, he raised his arm and spoke
[thank you for bringing back such variable information, I'll make sure to take care of your family!]
Knowing full well what his captain meant, Cain laughed and spoke
[I guess even you! The great!]
[Bang]
While gazing at the body of Cain, the captain said:
[burn the body… and the cab! OH! And shoot the pilot too!] ordered the captain
[cap... Don't you think that's... A bit] said the first mate as the captain interrupted him
[ And when you're done with that, burn anything that Cain blood touched! That includes the floor tiles!] continued the captain
Feeling the captain threatening tone the first mate said:
[It will be done! Cap!]
[Good! Then when you're done with that, come Play the logs!] demanded the captain.
As the old video played the captain squeezed his cross as he watched
Goblin king POV
As the shell-like monsters burst forth onto the bridge, the goblins on board swapped to their side arms and began to fire at the monsters, only to see that their bullets would bounce right off them, like they were toy pellets.
Seeing their gun do nothing the men began to panic as they tried to flee anywhere, they could. As the monster rampaged through them! And as they died, they turned to the king for aid, but he just stood there staring at the little girl who came up singing and dancing with a big O smile on her face!
As all the people on the bridge fell dead onto the floor, the little girl went up to the king and spoke
[You know… though you are a failure as a king! The old one still has a use for you, even if it displeases me to see you!]
Shock the king replied
[old one? HA! So, I guess the legends were true! It looks like in the end I failed to keep my end of the bargain with them…] after taking a pause the king continued to say with much vile:
[I shouldn't have never let a monster like you on board… I should have killed you when the doctor suspected something! I knew you couldn't be a normal child if you survived in that hell hole for so long!]
[that right you failed again… just like how you failed at war! Failed at keeping your family safe! Failed in keeping your kingdom safe! And your biggest failure of all! Was letting a part of him free! HEHE! Loser king! A Title so befitting a king such as you!] yelled the girl in ecstasy
As her words cut deep into the heart of the king did, he stand and say:
[though you are right about my failures, and that history will always remember me as such… I will still stand till the end! For I owe at least that to the men and women I led!]
But as the king stood tall and proud, the little girl turned to him and said:
[really now… I guess you still haven't opened your eyes!}
With that said, she snapped her fingers, and like a veil had been opened! The king's eyes bleed with the sight of blood and gore! For as he looked around the corpse beneath his feet! He held a bloody sword with an empty gun! Realizing what he had done, he quickly dropped his weapon, as he saw bloody skeletons of his crew mates crawl to him in a bloody pool.
As their bloody hand touch the hinges of his garments, did the little girl speak
[See I told you, no matter what! You will always be a loser king, for what king kills his own men for nothing! HEHE! For you even failed your crew!]
Hearing the girl's dreadful laugh in the background. Did the king fall to his knees! As the bloody remains of his crew grab hold of him! While they screamed in a chorus of voices:
[why my king! Weren't we your loyal servants! Why did you kill us!]
As he heard their voices did, he hear a familiar voice break through!
[why… My husband... Did you not listen to me! Why did you leave to go make war! Why didn't you kill me when I told you to! Now my soul is forever bound to him!]
Hearing the tortured voice of his wife, he still resisted the urge to completely break! Until the scene before his eyes changed! For the vision before his eyes were the last straws to break his will, for he bore witness to a metal alien rampaging through his children! He watched, as it slit the throats of his babies! He watched, as it killed his son to make an abomination! He watched as it slaughtered all the children in his charge! But the most damning thing he witnessed by far! Was the scene of his wife crying, as she was force fed the flesh of her own babies! With rage building in his heart did he hear a horrid voice!
[do you wish for revenge?]
While not being able to hear the voice speaking to the king, the little girl stood in front of a drooling king!
[Hehe! That was easier than I thought! To think a man with such a weak mind was king! Disgusting!] said the girl
But as the girl stood before the kneeling king a black alien-like creature jumped from the shadows with carnivores rage! But as soon as it was within a millimeter in front of the troll, it found itself unable to move! As it struggled and turned, all wrapped up in invisible tentacles, did the girl turn to face it!
[well, well! Look who decided to join the fun!] said the little girl
[hiss] responded the alien
[sssh! There, there! Soon you will have a new master! A better one! One that will actually care about you and not leave you here to die!] said the little girl, as she started to paint runic symbols on the alien head with claw-like fingers! Seeing the alien cry and struggle to bite her she said:
[sssh! Don't be mad because your acidic blood no longer works on us! After all your blood was spilled in his presence!]
Couple of minute later:
[there it is done!] she said with a joyous smile!
[now all there is left for you is to die!] she continued to say.
With another big smile she placed her hand against the alien head and said:
[Though you came from a different sea, all shall return to him! For through him were the seas made! Even in the darkest of oceans! where the lights burn, while the rocks float in their places! All came from him, and all shall return to him, as it was before!] yelled the little girl as all the monsters in the room drove their claws through the alien! Causing it to cough out acidic blood!
With dying vision, the alien felt a cold hardened blade ram through its head! As the alien body dropped to the floor, the king's body began to grow and morph into a hideous monster! As it absorbed the blood of his dead crew mates! With his transformation complete the little girl looked towards the recording cameras and with a snap of her neck, did all shut off!
Captain very shot POV
[sir….] said the first mate as he looked at his captain scowling face
[Burn it…] said the captain
[I'm sorry, what did you say captain?] replied the first mate
[I SAID BURN IT! BURN THAT GHOST SHIP NOW!] replied the captain in a rage
As the captain watch the ghost ship burn and sink beneath the skies did, he says:
[set a course to the sky city of Elfeld!]
[sir… the city of secrets?] replied the first mate
[Yes… they must be warned! For he has returned after a thousand years of slumber!] replied the captain
[who is he?] ask the first mate, as the captain retreated to his living quarter completely ignoring his question.
