"I want you to help me contact your classmate," the girl said hesitantly, "I haven't been able to contact him lately, and waiting for him at the school gate wasn't worked either."
If Riley didn't already know about the whole story, he might have thought it was a case of a couple having a fight, with the guy going off the grid.
